Unicorns cry, too

Don't you ever think about it?
The possibility that make believe,
Is an actual world,
That we can't see?
Don't you ever feel it?
Every time there's a documentary,
About the latest discovery,
Of claims of a mermaid or a unicorn.
What says they aren't real?
Because you can't see them,
And because you've been told,
That they aren't?
Can't you see?
If young children can see them,
And adults can't,
There is a possibility there?
Maybe we just can't see them because we stopped believing.
Mermaids could be gliding through the waves,
Unicorns galloping through the glens,
And we are unaware,
Because we have shut our minds off,
To the world of make believe.
We opened it,
To the harsher realities,
And going ons of the world.
We opened our minds to demons,
Devils, and creatures alike.
But I bet that if you were to ponder it,
You'd see the make believe world,
Just one more time.
