***9 Months Later***
Kati’s POV:
It’s been about 7 months since I came back to Missouri. I ended up staying in L.A. for 2 more months because of Devin. Speaking of him, things have been really good so far. We are serious now. **wink wink** if you now what I mean ;). Haha! Well good news… I’m 17, graduated from school and Devin moved to Saint Louis for me! I’m so excited! He got an apartment and we are both living in it. It’s roomy and a little bit of a squeeze but we manage. It’s about a 20-minute drive from my dad’s so we go over there a lot.
I hear a car door slam shut. I walk over to the window and see my boyfriend step out of his sleek car and lock it. About 5 minutes later the door handle jiggles a little.
“Hey babe” he says as he walks over and kisses my cheek.
"Hey. Any mail??” I ask hopefully. He starts going through the mail as I flip through channels.
“Actually, there’s a letter here for Miss. Kati Wence. No address from where it came from.” He said. I shot up and ran to the counter.
“LET ME SEE THAT!” I say excitedly. Could it be? I tear open the letter as fast as I can. I hear Devin laugh at me. Ok. Here it goes. Is this from L.A.? Cross your fingers!
***Same Day but 7 hours later; 10:00pm U.K. Time***
Harry’s POV:
We just got back from a fun day go-karting. God. Niall can’t drive to save his life. He just runs into everything like a rabid squirrel on drugs. I mean like seriously. Anyways, as soon as we walk through the door, we all sat our fat ass's on the couch and started eating… some more.
“So boys. I got an email from Riley Rex, you know the talk show hostess. Well she would like us to be guests on her show in about, ehhh, 3 months. You up for it?” Liam says reading the email again, making sure he has all of the details right. Oh my god. THE Riley Rex?! She’s… sexy. I can’t believe this. My mouth falls open.
“Are you serious?!” Niall asks. He obviously was thinking the same thing.
“DUH!” He said. The rest of us nodded vigorously. You would think twice about going on that show… with the famous model. Wow. Are we lucky or what?!
“Okay well I’m going to let this sink into your pathetic brains and get some shut eye. Night,” Liam says. We all follow. Also going to bed. I strip to my boxers and fall fast asleep. Dreaming of the one and only… Riley Rex.
***Same Day but 7 hours earlier; 3:07pm Missouri Time***
Kati’s POV:
“Dear Miss. Kati Wence… Blah blah blah. Blah. Blah blah. BLAH! Come back to L.A. and record this show with us. It would be your big shot. Plane tickets for your whole family are in the package. Your dad, Ashley, Khloe, Zach, even Alex, Ashton, and Max. Including one other guest. Please come on this flight for the 25th. Thanks -Mrs. Helm”
“AHHHHH!!!!! OMFG! I CAN’T BELIVE THIS!” I scream and rap my arms around Devin’s neck, pulling him to a hug. I pull away and a smile is plastered on his face.
“I’m so happy for you babe. But wait. Isn’t the 25th in like, 2 days?” He asks me. I check my iPhone. Omg it is! And I’m moving there! I read the stuff that I ‘blahed’ out of the letter. She had gotten me an apartment already for 2 people. So Devin and I. My family will just stay in a hotel for about 2-3 weeks. Ok. This is going to work! I just wonder who my costar is. All I know is that she’s playing Sam and she’s not famous. Cool.
