I was starting to get worried they still haven't come back yet OK i bet your wondering what I'm talking about so this is what happened. My name is lighting i'm white Siberian husky i live in a twoleg home with a female twoleg and a male twoleg. My towlegs went out four hours ago and i was starting to get scared they never go out that long, they probably got occupied i'll wait they'll come back.

It's been to long i need to go out and look for them. I clawed at the door but it wouldn't bug, i looked up to see a handle like thing i pushed on it with my paws and the door opened. I was surprised when i saw that the city was deserted no twoleg in site. Stepping out side everything was wary the wind carried whispers and the shadows cast odd shapes on the walls of twoleg buildings.

I walked for hours in silence until i heard a russel, i looked over at the bush it came from and sniffed it, it was a dog scent which could be good or bad. A black husky walked out of the bush he looked at me and said. "My names Thunder you?"

"Lightning what are you doing here?"

"Just passing through."

"Where are you going?"

"To the forest"

"Mind if i come?"

"Not at all."

So we set off traveling north toward the country side stopping at dumpsters to look for food staying alert of what was around us. I was starting to wonder where all the twolegs went had they all left because they were sick of the city. I was so caught in thought that i did'nt hear Thunder calling my name.

"What did you say?"

"I said do you know how to hunt?"

"No i do not."

"Well then i'll have to teach you, if you want to survive in the wild you need to know how to hunt."

Thunder taut me how to hunt, then i caught a squirrel and we shared it before we set off.

We finaly got out of the city when night fell. It was even worse at night you coudl'nt see a thing it was like walking blind. I asked if we could rest for the night so we turned into an old barn. It had a pile of hay on one side and on the other pens for some kind of animal. The barn had'nt been used in years so it was safe.

We settled down in the hay when i smelled something it smelled like a dog.

"Hey Thunder do you smell a dog?" I asked.

"Yes i do." We followed the scent trail to a cowering chocolate lab. He looked up at us and growled. He seemed like a good dog just nervous, he was just out of pup hood did'nt look like he could hunt though.

"It's OK we don't mean any harm what are you doing here?" Thunder asked.

"I live here with my mother this is our barn." He was staring to sound worried.

"Where is your mom?" I asked i cound'nt see his mom.

"She went hunting out hunting a couple of days ago and never came back."

"Are you hungry i can find something for you?" He nodded his head then Thunder pulled me out of the barn. "Lightning we need to form a pack to survive and i think we should ask if he would like to join." Said Thunder.

It sounded smart we have a better chance of survival in a pack even if we just have two at the moment dogs, we'll get more. I nodded then set off looking for prey.
