"Mist! Lightning!" I heard a voice calling my name and Mist's. I lifted my head from Mist's now steely fur and looked straight into her eyes, which were now glazed and colorless. " Mist! Lightning!" The voice called again. " I'm here!" I yelled but it was more raspy then i wanted it to be. Scorch, Thunder, and Runt came bursting through the bushes. scorch saw Mist and immediately ran to me, a look that said i was a traitor in his eyes. "What did you do to her!" He spat at me his words coated with venom. "It it was A-Ash, not me." I stuttered. ".Who's Ash?" Thunder asked lightly. " T-the dog i i used to live with." I whispered.
Thunder pressed his pelt against me and helped me get up. " No i cant leave her, this is all my fault!" i Yowled. "Lightning we need to get you home." Thunder said. I didn't have enough energy left to protest so i let him guide me back to camp. When we got there Spirit and Sage where already waiting for us. "Wheres Mist?" Sage asked. " Dead." I answered as my eyes stung with un shed tear'es. " Lightning lay down i need to check you for wounds." Spirit ordered but i could see the shock in her eyes. I layed down shivering as i thought of Mist's dead body being dragged back to camp. " She has no injuries, shes just in a state of shock." Spirit told Thunder. " She'll be ok then?" Thunder asked. spirit nodded her head then helped me get up. "Go into your den and get some sleep." Spirit told me. I walked to my den and layeddown on the stone bed lined with moss. the only thing i could think of was how Ash had said that he would kill every one i loved. ************************************************************************************************************ ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
