I lay in the nursery with Ember, Robin and Tukker curled by my side i had to tell them what happened to there mother but i couldn't so i just told them that there mother was on a secret mission and that she might not come back. Robin lifted her and looked at me. "Is Mist back yet?" She asked her voice coated with sleep. "Not yet Robin she might not be back for a while." I told her trying to hide the sadness in her voice. "Well she better hurry up i miss her already" She murmured before falling asleep again.
I walked out of the nursery and saw Mist body being carried out. I glanced back making sure that the pups dint see before i ran over to them. Spirit was in the lead helping to Carrie Mist to be buried, Sage limped behind them her face blank. "I want to barrie her with Scorch and only Scorch." I ordered. "Fine we will stay back here." Spirit nodded before walking away. "Follow me i know where she would have wanted to be buried." My eyes teared up as i spoke. Scorch looked at me his eyes untrusting and cold but he didn't speak up.
We walked to the place i wanted to Barrie her, Mist loved the river and her favourite tree was a weeping willow. I layed her down by the weeping willow and looked at Scorch. "I want to look for something to barrie her with." I told him and walked away as he started digging. I walked around looking for something and then i found protected by a small piece of bark that was shielding it from the snow was a small tulip. I grabbed the end gently in my mouth and brought it back to the tree. Scorch was half way through so i put the tulip down in a small hollow at the trees roots and started to help him dig.
When we finished we layed Mist gently in the hole, I took the tulip and layed it beside her head, we covered her up and walked back. My head was hanging low and my eyes were dull but i knew that i had to organize a hunting patrol. "Scorch i want you to lead a hunting patrol with Bruno, Scratch, and Blossom." I told Scorch he just walked away to find those dogs. I knew Scorch didnt trust me its obvious he thinks i killed Mist i just hope it passes. In fact i dont think anyone fully believes me but if you saw a dead dog with only one dog around and no proof that anyone else killed her would you think i was lying. **************************************************************************************************** **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
