Spring was finally starting to come but prey was still scarce. We could start fishing in the river, and right now i was with a hunting patrol. On it was Ink Bear and me, we where to see if the fish where still alive and if so bring back breakfast. I led the patrol into a deep part of the river but not to deep, and sure enough there was fish. I pounced on the first one i saw and ended up with a mouth full of water, i glanced over to Zero and saw him with a fish in his mouth. Zero may not talk but i knew he was an amazing hunter an would provide the pack well. I pounced on another fish and managed to narrowly catch it.
By the time we where done hunting we had at least eight fish about enough for the pack. First i brought two fish too Scorch, Ember, and Robin, then to Spirit and Sage and lastly four fish went to the scouts. I careered the fish i had kept for me and Thunder to where Thunder is, i sat down beside him and gave him a lick. "You really shouldn't be hunting with pups arriving soon." He told me. as much as i wanted to deny it he was wright. "Your wright i shouldn't but hey i'll settle down today, no more hunting." I told him. "Great i don't want my pups to be born with a hunting problem." He joked. "Well if do they learned from the best." As i finished Blossom came running up to me. "Luna lightning," she said bowing her head. "Their a dog here to see you his name is Ash. As she finished i lost my breath. "Thunder prepare the scouts and dogs in training this dog killed Mist."
