"Hey Emma"
"Hey Ethan, what are you doing here?" She asked me as she opened the door of her house to let me in.
"I got into a really bad argument with my mom and I ran away" I explained.
Emma's eyes widen as she listened. Her complex expressions on her face informed me that she really did not expect this from me.
"What? What happened?" She asked.
"I already told you and I don't want to repeat myself. I was just wondering if I can spend the night or a few days here" I asked her feeling embarrassed.
"Sure, you can stay as long as you need but I don't got extra clothes or a toothbrush so I don't know how you're going to change" she pointed out.
"Is okay, I can just borrow some from Dylan or sneak into my house tomorrow " I told her as I sat on the blue couch on the living room.
"I hope you feel better" She said as she sat next to me on the couch.
"Thanks Emma, I hope your parents will be alright with it"
"I don't know about my mom cause you know, for a time she thought you were my boyfriend but I'm sure my dad won't mind it". She put her right hand on my left sholder, "you'll be okay Ethan".
Thanks was all I said.
Emma then stood up and walked over to the kitchen.
"You want some orange juice?" She offered.
"Yeah, I'm really thirsty from running" I pointed out, "By the way, how are the letters working out? It had been a week already".
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Every student from the Fire building know of the plan and support you" She said.
I was extremely surprised to hear that. I didn't expect so many people to know about the plan and support us that fast.
"So every fire bender is on my side" I asked her while taking a cup of orange juice from her hands.
"I said the Fire building students, not including those who are masters and already graduated" she paused. "So about 40 percent of the fire benders are on our side".
"Maybe I should call Dylan and London right now to hear their reports too, I totally forgot about it" I thought out loud.
"Want me to call them?" Emma asked while she drank from her cup.
"Yeah, go ahead" I told her. She then walked to the living room and grabbed her phone to call them.
I really hope this works because I don't like what I heard in jail. Making us to fight in a pointless war! Insane that is, might as well kill all of these rare people and put all of us extinct.
But with 40 percent of the fire benders on our side, I'm sure I will see similar numbers from Dylan and London.****
Thirty minutes later, Emma and I heard a nock on the door. As usual, Dylan and London came together like a cute couple. If you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic."Hey guys" They both said at the same time. Disgusting.
"Hi" said Emma.
"Hey" I said from the couch.
I saw them approach me and both sat across from me on the other couch. Emma then closed the door and windows and put the blinds down. She then walked over and sat next to me.
"Okay" I started talking, "So Emma already told me that about forty percent of the fire benders knew about the plan and were on our side. Now I want to hear about you guys"
