Marinette/Ladybug's pov:
"My name is Dreamscaper! I am here for your miraculouses!" The akumatized citizen yells as we approach him.
"Never!" Chat and I say in unison.
"Suit yourself!" Dreamscaper smirks, then uses his weapon to summon a duplicate of Marinette. Aka me, ladybug. But Chat doesn't notice, and begins to think that it's the real Marinette.
"Princess!" He yells, then the fake Marinette yells back, "Chat! Help me!!"
"Will do, anything for my princess." He then bows and jumps onto the same building as the Dreamscaper, then slowly walks towards him.
The Dreamscaper then grabs the fake Marinette and begins to let go of her. Chat pounces him and he drops Marinette. I then grab my yoyo and wrap it around a bar, then I go after her and catch her before she hits the ground.
"Th-thank you! Ladybug!" She says as I let her down.
"No problem. Go and hide before he captures you again!" I shout, she then nods and runs away. I smile to myself and then hear winces above me.
"L-ladybug! Help!!" Chat screams, I look up and see Dreamscaper holding Chat down with his baton. I swing my yoyo once again and it wraps around the Dreamscaper. I kick him off of Chat and throw him his baton.
"Ladybug!" Chat yells, standing up.
"The akuma is in his earring! The one that looks like a dream catcher!"
I nod and grab the earring and rip it off of him. I then throw it to the ground and step on it, causing an akuma to fly out.
"You've done enough harm, you nasty bug." I yell while cleansing the akuma.
"Bye bye pretty butterfly!" I smile and the akuma flies out of my yoyo, purified.
"That's weird, I didn't have to use my lucky charm." I look at Chat, who shrugs his shoulders. I do the same and throw my hand into the air.
"Miraculous ladybug!" I yell as a flash of red and white moves throughout the city, cleaning everything up. I look over the edge of the building and see the fake Marinette disappear. I smile and walk over to Chat.
"Pound it?" I ask.
"Pound it." He smiles and we fist bump.
"Oh yeah. I'm sorry for mistaking you for Marinette. I shouldn't have made a false accusation. I apologize, M'lady." Chat says, apologizing.
"It's okay. Don't worry about it. Oh and hey, I'll tell you when I'm ready." I smile then turn, getting ready to leave. He then grabs my arm and pulls me into an embrace.
"...Chat...?"
"Just, give me a minute. I need this." He says, hugging me tighter.
I nod and hug him back, I have to admit. It does feel good to hug someone every once and a while.
"Ladybug I-I-" Chat begins to say, but his miraculous beeps.
"Nevermind. I'll tell you next time." He says, letting go of me. I shiver after he removes his hands and he leaves, jumping from building to building.
I stand there for a while just looking at the sky.
"At least I got to see my bestfriend again. Happy anniversary, Chat. And happy anniversary, Adrien..." I jump off of the building and land in an alleyway. I then de-transform and hold tikki in my hands.
"Marinette..."
"Not now, tikki. No time to talk now, we have to get home." I sigh and start walking.

(Later)-
I arrive home at about 1:30 am. I walk to the door and unlock it slowly, trying not to make the bell on the door ring. I grab it and slip inside. I turn around and lock the door back then make my way to the stairs, at the first step, I point my feet and tip toe up the stair case.
Good. One flight done. Now, the other one.
I step onto the second floor and the floor makes a creaking sound. I look towards my parents room and see a light come on, then hear footsteps come toward me.
"Marinette...? What are you doing up so late?" My mother, Sabine Dupan-Cheng asks as I make up an excuse.
"I was getting a late night snack. I didn't have any dinner so I was hungry. Did I wake you?"
"Yes, but that is fine. Go back to your food. Just try not to make a lot of noise. Your father would be mad if you woke him up. Goodnight, Marinette." She says as she kisses my forehead, then leaves the room.
I let out a sigh and tikki laughs.
"Close one Marinette."
"I know. Are you hungry?" I ask my small Kwami.
She nods and I grab some cookies out of the pantry and race up the stairs, to my room.
I set tikki on my desk with a little blanket, pillow, and her cookies. I then kiss her forehead and walk up to my bed. Forgetting to change into pajamas.
"Goodnight, tikki." I yawn as I flop onto my bed, instantly falling asleep.
