Chapter eleven- Waking up.

Marinette/Ladybug's pov:
After I turn to my side I hear a whisper, but I can't really make out what the words were. I heard my name but that's all.
I turn a little and I lay on my arm on accident. I got kicked in the stomach/Chest area and I have a broken rib. It hurts whenever I move, but this time it was ten times worse, because I broke my arm...as well.
I wince and shoot up, Then I grab the nurse call button and press it multiple times.
I can't breathe.
I try my hardest to stay calm but I keep pressing the nurse call button.
"Marinette?!" Adrien asks, I can hear the worry in his voice. I wave my hand and place it over my throat and make an 'X' with my hands. Trying to use a random sign language. I keep pressing the nurse call button and after a minute of pressing it. A nurse arrives.
"She can't breathe!" Adrien yells as the nurse examines me.
"Miss Dupain Cheng, you need to calm down. Lay down on your back for me real quick." I do so and tears flow from my eyes.
I look at the ceiling, panicking and not knowing what to do.
Finally I am able to breathe again and I begin to do it quickly and heavily.
"Marinette you need to pace your breaths. You'll hyperventilate if you continue to breathe like that. Please calm down." The nurse says. I nod and calm down and relax.
"Tomorrow will be your surgery. We will be working on your rib bone. Please try and get sleep. If you need anything just press the same button as earlier. I'll check on you in four hours." The nurse says, then leaves. Turning the light off and closing the door behind her.
I look to the side and see Adrien crying, I reach out and he takes my hand and places it against his face.
"You scared me so much Marinette! Please don't ever do that again!" He cries.
"I'm...oh...kay...." I say retrieving air.
"Chloé is going to pay for what she did to you. I'll do anything and everything in my power to have her suspended from everything or taken to court. I promise she will never hurt you again." He wipes his tears away and hugs me carefully.
"I love you Marinette. And I don't want anything bad to ever happen to you."
"I love you too, Adrien."
He then grabs my face and we lock lips for the second time.
This is what love feels like.

(Tikki's pov:)
I wake up when I hear Marinette's alarm go off, She hits snooze and I fly up and nudge her face.
"Marinette...It's...time...to...get...u-up.." I say, still tired. I try and try but I give up when I hear her snore.
'Why is she in her house if she has her surgery today?
Or was all of that just a dream?'
I think back to when I fell asleep and I remember the fact that it was a dream. This has all been a dream. I remember the last thing I did was eat cookies next to Marinette and then pass out because of the battle we had right before we went to sleep. It was about 1:30 am and Marinette snuck upstairs but got caught by her mother, but she didn't get in trouble because she said she was hungry.
So I saw everything in Marinette and Adrien's point of view?
This is crazy. I didn't know dreams were capable of such things. I could feel exactly what Marinette felt. Was this part of the dreamscapers after math? 'I need to go talk to Plagg.' I think to myself as I fly out of Marinette's open window, into the cold night.

(Later:)
I arrive at the Agreste mansion and I fly through Chat Noir's window.
I look for Plagg and find him next to Adrien's head, sleeping soundly.
"Plagg!" I whisper in a harsh tone, he moves around a bit but doesn't open his eyes. "Plagg!" I basically yell, forgetting that Adrien is asleep.
"Mm...Plagg stop watching those stupid chipmunk shows. I told you their voices were too high and too annoying. Wait...Didn't I lock that channel on my tv....?" He asks, sitting up. We make eye contact and he falls out of bed, hitting his head on the floor.
By now Plagg is up and wild. He starts laughing hysterically at Adrien and I sigh.
"Plagg, control yourself."
"Yes, Tikki." He rolls his eyes and I see Adrien's eyes widen.
"Who are you...?" He asks, I smile and my eyes brighten as I speak.
"I am Ladybug's Kwami. Tikki. I am terribly sorry for waking you up, Adrien. I just had to talk to Plagg for a bit."
"Ladybugs Kwami?! H-how'd you know where I lived?! How'd you know I was chat noir?! Does that mean ladybug knows and she ignores me because of it...?! What if that's the case?! I can't live without ladybug! We've been friends for a year and I can't let that go yet!" He starts to freak out but I laugh reassuringly.
"I knew where you lived because I can sense Plagg. I know you're Chat Noir because before your miraculous were given to you two, Master Fu told us who you were. So we've known who you guys are since the beginning...If that makes sense, of course. Ladybug does not know who you are. But if she did I know she'd be happy. She adores you in her civilian form. You just never notice." I explain.
"Ohhhhh...I've never noticed any girl admiring me or being happy around me. Well, except my girlfriend. Chloé. But she's not ladybug. I'm sure of it. I've seen those two in the same room before and that would be weird."
"I agree." Plagg interrupts.
"Plagg be quiet!" Adrien frowns at his Kwami and Plagg just laughs.
"Sorry, sorry. So tikki. What did you need to talk about?" Plagg asks.
"Well, the villain we fought earlier is affecting my dreams, I'm sure of it. I wanted to ask you if you could feel things in your dream. And if so, what?"
"Yeah..I could feel things in my dream. I felt Adrien hyperventilating. It was because Chloé beat Marinette up and he was upset...It went on for a while but it ended after she said I love you and them kissing." He whispers so Adrien can't hear.
"Ah I see. Do you think this was because of the akuma we faced?" I ask.
"Yeah, maybe. If not then we better be careful around Chloé."
"I agree." I whisper and Plagg nods.
"Oh yeah...Chat Noir. Is it true that you have feelings for ladybug? Or are you just a big flirt?" I ask, changing the subject so Adrien doesn't get suspicious.
He smiles and begins to speak.
"It's true. I mean...Ever since I met her I've loved her. I don't care who is under the mask, I just want to know who my love is...It's killing me slowly and painfully. I don't flirt with anyone else. Ladybug is my one and only, well actually ladybug and the girl who is under the mask. I'm sure I'll care about them both when I find out."
"Chat Noir...I'm so sorry. If you knew it would be so much easier for the both of you. But I cannot go against Ladybugs rules. I apologize Chat Noir." I sigh, shaking my head.
"That's alright. I'll find out one day. By the way...Call me Adrien, Tikki. Any friend of ladybug's is a friend of mine. So you're allowed to call me by my real name." He says, smiling.
"Thank you, Adrien." I smile and he nods.
"Wait. If you love ladybug..Then why are you dating that monster...Chloé?" Plagg asks.
"Well my dad insisted and the mayor insisted as well. I had no way out of it, so for now I have a girlfriend. Who I don't love...It isn't right but I can't do anything about my situation." He says with a sad look on his face.
"Why don't we help you break up with her? Maybe you won't have to break her heart...but she will break you're heart." Plagg says with a smirk.
"Okay...Deal. But how are we going to do that?" He asks.
"I can tell ladybug that she needs to make an appearance. So she can tell Chloé a few things." I say.
"Alright, deal." Adrien says, smiling.
I go over to the corner with Plagg and whisper;
"That was a good idea." I say, Plagg nods.
"This way Marinette won't get hurt, if that is what the dream meant."
"Yeah. I have to get back to Marinette now, Tell me if anything else happens, but tell me tomorrow when Marinette and Adrien go to school so we can secretly talk, got that?" I ask.
"Yes. Of course Tikki. Be safe and make sure Marinette is safe."

Hello everyone! I finally updated and I made it extra long so you guys can read it while I'm gone. I'm will update once or twice while I'm on spring break but I don't know how long the chapters will be. This one was 1,527+ words.
Oh yeah and PLEASE don't hate me for making it a dream. I just wanted to add something to the story to make it more interesting. Don't worry though, It'll get better soon. I'm sorry for stretching my chapters out so much. I don't understand why I do that but that's just how I do my job. I'm sorry if this chapter was so confusing. Plot twists are always confusing n' yeah. Have a good weekend and be safe, everyone! I love you all.
