Chapter 17- FINALE

Marinette's point of view;
          I wake up in my dark room. I'm perfectly okay but a little drowsy. I decide to get up and walk downstairs because I'm starving.
     I get out of bed and walk downstairs. When I see the whole house I look into the living room and see Adrien, Mom, Dad, Alya, And Nino. Adrien is the first to notice me walk downstairs and he stands up and runs to me and embraces me with a hug.
          "Thank goodness you're awake.." He says as he hugs me tightly. I slightly smile and then he releases me from his grip. I then walk over to the couch and sit down. My parents look at me with worried expressions and Alya and Nino just look confused.
"First off..I'd like to say that I am sorry for what I did. I won't ever do it again..." I speak slowly at first, trying to grab everyone's attention. Once everyone is looking at me I sigh and then say:
"I'm ladybug. I have been ladybug for about two years and Some people have just figured out." I look at Adrien and he nods.
     "Chat Noir didn't even know..and he's been right next to me this whole time.." I explain, Adrien walks up to me and then sighs.
"I'm chat noir." He says, Nino and Alya now have shocked faces instead of confused expressions.
"I'm sor-" I begin to say but Alya interrupts me.
"Marinette don't apologize. You just didn't want anything to get crazy. I forgive you, you were protecting us." She says, smiling now. I stand up and walk over to her and give her a huge hug. She hugs me back and then Nino looks back and forth from me, to Adrien.
          "All of this time? Oh geez, everyone is so blind." He says, we all laugh and then my parents begin to talk.
"Marinette we are sorry for being harsh, we just didn't know how to deal with it. We love you so much and we could never live without you." My mother says; then my dad speaks,
"We love you Marinette. Never leave us In that way." He's talking about how I tried to kill myself. I look at Adrien and he mouths: "Sorry." I mouth back; "It's okay."
         "So...I was thinking of telling all of Paris.." I say. Adrien shakes his head; "I don't think we should. Hawk moth would find us and take our miraculous'." He protests. I nod,
"True...Do you think we should keep it between all of us for now?" I ask, Adrien says; "Yes. So we don't put our friends and family in danger."
     "I agree." I look at the ladder that leads to my room.
"Hey Adrien can we talk upstairs?" I nudge my head towards the trapdoor. He nods and then takes hold of my hand and we walk upstairs and close the trapdoor.
          "Adrien I just want to apologize for everything. I don't mean what I said, o was just stressed out and anxiety got the best of me..I love being ladybug and I'm so, so glad it was you. I wouldn't want my partner to be anyone else. You are an amazing partner and you've saved me a lot. Thank you for everything."
I see Adrien blush and I smile a bit.
"I understand. Sometimes stress and anxiety is too much for me too..but we'll get through it okay? Together."
"Together. Ladybug, Chat Noir, Adrien. And Marinette."
"We need to keep it a secret though. Okay?" He asks.
I nod; "Yea of course."
"Hey Mari?" He says, I look at him and he smiles.
"I'm glad it was you too."
I blush and cup his face and we lock lips.
"Je t'aime." I say once we disconnect lips.
     "je crois que nous serons ensemble pour toujours, l'amour." He says back.
I smile and hug him tightly.
'This is how everything is supposed to be. With Adrien by my side...I have nothing to fear.' I think and then say;
"Never leave me, Please."
     "Not a problem love." He says back.
'I've never been this happy. Thank you for saving my life Adrien.'
