It's been been about eight months, Camila has become dangerously sick throughout her pregnancy. I've been concerned for her, but she tells me not to worry about her. Camila's the only person I have besides Gemma.

I heard Camila calling from me from the den, causing me to run to her. I dropped to my knees by her side, looking at her eyes, her eyes a light grey,"It's time, Harry," Camila said, looking at me. My eyes fluttered for a moment, trying to process what she said. I grabbed her hand, helping her up and getting her out to the car. When we arrived to the hospital, nurses were waiting with a wheelchair, ready to bring her up to delivery.

"Harry," Camila said, tugging on my hand,"I want to name her Kyla." I stared at her for a moment,"It's a girl? I thought you didn't us want to know what it was?" I asked, looking at her. They put her onto a bed, and hooked her up. She sighed, looking at me,"There's something I've been keeping from you for a while," She said,"When someone with the type of power that I have gets pregnant, we don't survive it," She said, looking away,"You can't, Camila, I can't raise a child alone," I said, shaking my head,"You're going to have to, Harry," She said, grabbing my hand,"Do it for me."

I licked my lips, looking away from her. I stood up, walking out to the balcony. I looked at the pale sight of hospital grounds. I can't raise a baby by myself, it's not in my nature. I looked back at Camila, she had her eyes closed with her hands on her belly. I heard her groan, which made me worry that she'd be gone before I knew it. I rushed over to her side, grabbing her hand,"It's almost time, Harry," She said, trying to grip my hand. Her strength has been decreasing by the second, which kept me on my toes.

The doctor came in the room with her gear on, spreading Camila's legs,"It looks like it's time," She said, smiling,"Promise me you'll take care of her, Harry, please," Camila said, I nodded,"I promise," I said, kissing her lips.

Several hours into Labor, Camila's features became more and more concerning. Her face looked hollowed, bags under her eyes. She barely had any strength to push our child into the world now, her eyes closing every chance she could get. I heard a baby wailing, breaking the silence. I looked over at the doctor,"It's a girl, congratulations," She smiled, handing me my child. I held her small body in my arms, looking at her,"Kyla," I whispered, standing up, showing her to Camila,"Camila, look," I said, Camila opening her eyes weakly, a smile on her face,"Meet Kyla," I said, smiling. Camila smiled weakly, her head slowly tipping to the side.

Her eyes closed, the machine flatlining. In that moment, my heart had sank. And with that, the love of my life has passed, and then the next had been in my arms the whole time. I felt tears burn my cheeks as I slowly sat down in the hospital chair, cradling the newborn,"I'll always love you, Kyla, even if it's to protect you, I'll never forget your mother, not for a moment, because you'll always remind me of her beautiful face," I said, continuing to cry over Camila's expected death.

But I know, I'll never get over losing her, and gaining a new guardian angel.
