It was my first day of school today and I was very nervous. I hadn't been to public school in a long time, at the orphanage I was home schooled, which I never really minded. After the boys and I had finished up at the studio and creating the new logo, we went shopping to get everything I would need for school as we forget that somehow.

I was pacing around my bedroom when Luke walked in. Great, I could already tell I was going to be getting advice, which maybe I needed some right now.

"Hey, calm down" he chuckled quietly and he sat on my bed. I nodded lightly, but kept pacing. "Come sit next to me and we'll talk, alright?" He added on. Again, I nodded and sat down next to him.

"I'm not going to lie, school can be hell. I would know, kids always used to tease me. But don't let them get to you, just stay out of their way the best you can and make friends with the nice kids and the musical kids. The musical kids are always the best people you can find" he said, smirking lightly, which made me laugh.

"You're only telling me to find musical friends because you're in a band" I said, laughing a bit.

"But it got you to laugh and calm down" he said with a proud smile on my face, and I actually smiled back. A real smile, something I hadn't been able to give anyone in a long time.

"Well, I'll leave you to get ready" he said, kissing my forehead and with that, he left my room and shut my door behind him. I remained sitting, thinking about everything.

The time came and I had to leave, Ashton literally had to carry me out of the house.

"Just relax. You'll make friends in no time, okay?" Ashton said, smiling and he started to drive. I was still confused on why all the boys were driving me to school.

"Yeah, don't be nervous. People will love you as much as we do" Michael said with a small wink, which made me laugh slightly and my cheeks turn a faint shade of pink. They loved me? I bite onto my bottom lip while I thought. It was then when I learned that these boys truly did love and care for me, and wouldn't hurt me on purpose. It gave me a feeling of hope, the feeling was like a friend I hadn't seen in years.

I nervously got out of the car, my galaxy print backpack on my back. I looked at the school and waved bye to the boys one last time, before I walked into the school. I hoped this wasn't as bad as I remembered it being. But it has been years since I've been to public school, and maybe it changed while I wasn't here.

[Skipping to lunch time, y'all know what happens in school]

I walked into the lunchroom and looked around. Ignore the mean kids, try to become friends with the nice and musical kids. Luke's advice had been stuck in my head all day. I walked over to an empty table and sat down. I was one of the first few people here, as my class was right next to the cafeteria.

Soon after I sat down, I saw a small group of kids walking over to the table I was sitting at. I looked up at them.

"Hey" A girl with brown hair said, with a smile spread across her face.

"Hey, did I take your guys' seats? I can move if you'd like" I mumbled softly, as I was always quiet, and careful, around new people.

"No, we saw you sitting alone and we heard you were new. So, we figured that you might need some friends and well, here we are" A girl with pink hair said, which made me smile softly.

"Oh, I wouldn't mind some friends" I said, putting the notebook I wrote stories in away. No one was ever allowed to see the stories inside except for me.

"Cool" A guy with curly brown hair said with a smile, as the 5 people sat down at the table with me. After a bit of silence, one of them decided to speak up, which I was grateful for. I never knew what to say around people.

"What's your name?" The girl with pink hair asked.

"Saige Irwin" I said, smiling softly. Their eyes widened when I said that, and I let out a quiet laugh.

"You mean, your the girl Ashton Irwin adopted?" The blonde girl asked, and I nodded. "That's so cool!" She squealed softly.

"I had the same reaction when I found out" I laughed a bit "But uh, what's your guys names?" I asked with an eyebrow raised slightly.

"Oh yeah! Sorry about that. I'm Savannah but call me Sav or Savvy" The blonde girl said. "That's Josephine but call her Josie" Savannah said pointing to the girl with pink hair. "That's Brad" She said, pointing to the boy with brown, curly hair. "Then that's Ethan and Grayson Dolan, they're famous" She said pointing to identical twin boys. Shit, how was I going to tell them apart?

"Grayson has a mole on his chin, Ethan has one of his cheek" Josie said, which made us laugh a bit.

It was a good first day of school. I was actually rather proud of myself. I hadn't thought one bad thing about myself or life that whole day, I was actually thinking rather good things. I had been adopted by a famous band and so far, they haven't done anything but be extremely nice to me and now I had made 5 friends.
