"Well, hello again, little guy!" Kagura said, picking the little exceed up.
"I didn't expect to run into you again." She continued.
The exceed giggled. "Fro thinks so too!"
Kagura went out shopping by herself and ran into the little guy. Frosch was shopping with Lector again, but just like last time, he had wandered away. Lector was currently searching around, as he thought Frosch couldn't wander far, but he had no idea that the little guy had been picked up by a mermaid. He had no idea that him flying back to the guild in a hurry was a waste of his energy.
"I suppose you got lost again, didn't you?"
Frosch nodded, then hung his head a little. "Fro wants to see Rogue again..."
Kagura hugged the little guy. "Don't worry, Frosch. I'll take you back to Rogue."
Frosch lifted his head up and cheered happily. "Yay! Fro thinks so, too!"
Kagura laughed as she started walking towards Sabertooth.
(*cue 30s style announcer voice*) -LATER, AT SABERTOOTH!-
"So, why exactly did we let Lector and Frosch go out alone shopping, again?" Rogue asked.
"Lector insisted that he and Frosch prove that they can go shopping without Frosch getting lost." Sting answered.
"I think it's adorable, the two of them making such a big deal about this." Yukino added.
Rogue chuckled. "Yeah, it's kinda cute. I'm sure Frosch won't get lost that easily."
Suddenly, Lector burst through the front doors. "Sting! Rogue!" The red exceed ran into the guild towards them.
Rogue instantly stood up. "Did Frosch get lost again!?"
Lector nodded, sadly. "I failed you guy..."
"I'll go find him!" Rogue bolted out the front doors as Sting picked up Lector. He and Yukino then started to console him.
Not too long after running out of the guild, he ran into a certain women carrying his precious pet/friend.
"Frosch!" Rogue cried.
"Rogue!" Frosch said.
"Hello, Rogue." Kagura said. "I came here to deliver Frosch."
Rogue ran up and hugged the woman. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Kagura blushed, then pushed Rogue away and hit him on the head with her sword. "Stop acting like a baby. Take your adorable cat back." She set Frosch down who went over to immediately get picked up by Rogue.
"Thank you, Kagura." Rogue said. "Is there anything I can do to repay you?"
Kagura twiddled her thumbs for a moment. "Maybe you could buy me some food or something?" She asked, shyly.
Rogue thought for a moment, then nodded happily. "Sure! But first." He held Frosch out to her. "Frosch, thank the kind lady for helping you get back."
"Fro thanks you, Kagura!"
Rogue set him down. "Okay, now run along. I'll take the kind lady out for her reward."
But Frosch didn't move an inch. Rogue was confused. "Frosch, what's wrong?"
"Fro wants to come with Rogue and Kagura on their date!"
The two blushed. "N-Now, Frosch. This is not a date. I'm taking Kagura out to buy her some food for finding you."
Kagura sighed and picked up the green cat. "No use arguing. Let's just take him with us."
"Yay!" Frosch cheered.
Rogue hesitated, but then he smiled. "Sure, why not?"
Then they started walking down the street towards a cafe.
The two sat at a table, Frosch on Kagura's lap, talking.
"So, does Frosch get lost often? This is my second time finding him." She asked.
"Sometimes he does. He just gets easily distracted. That's why I look out for him so much." Rogue answered.
"Fro thinks so too!" The two giggled at the exceed.
Soon, the two ordered coffee, and Frosch wanted a glass of milk.
"Millianna would love this little guy. She loves cats, you know."
"Oh, I know." Rogue said. "You remember how Lyon distracted her in that battle in the Grand Magic Games?"
Kagura sighed after quickly laughing. "Yeah. An ice mouse. Sure was a clever move, though. Maybe an ice make Frosch would distract you, huh?"
Rogue laughed at her joke. "Yeah, maybe."
Their drinks showed up quickly and the two drank their coffee and Frosch sipped his milk like a toddler.
Kagura giggled. "He's adorable."
"He's not the only one." Rogue mumbled.
"What was that, Rogue?"
"Nothing!" the man said, failing to hide his blush.
Kagura smiled. "Hey Rogue." She leaned forward. "Come here."
Rogue leaned forward, a bit nervous. "W-What is it?"
"I think Frosch is really cute." She whispered.
"But not as cute as you." She then kissed his nose and sat down, smirking at the blushing mess that she left the man in.
Frosch giggled. "Fro likes spending time with Rogue and Kagura!"
Kagura laughed. "I could get used to hanging out with you two."
She leaned back in. "Especially you, hot stuff."
Rogue finally sat back down, blushing like crazy.
"W-Well, maybe I could also get used to it, too..." Rogue said quietly.
Kagura laughed again.
"Stop being so shy. It doesn't suit you."
The green exceed giggled again.
"Fro thinks so, too!"
