"Alright, Agent, what do you got?" Deputy Director Manson asked.

"Updated profile on Roadkill, courtesy of Agent Parente. He's talking with the murder victim's room mate who flew in last night," Chris said, handing him the file.

"Heard he lost his lunch at the sight  while at the coroner's," Manson said. "Can't say I blame him."

"Yeah, it was gruesome. According to that file, we're looking for a male, between his early 20's or late 30's. He's said to be sadistic and holds no mercy for his victims, but holds a cold compassion towards anyone victimized by his victims. He's methodical, twisted, and acts fast, but by what we learned from the coroner's report, he takes time to torture his victims before killing them, and decides to get creative," Chris explained what Angelo earlier told him.

"Like a poacher?" Manson asked.

"Yeah," Chris nodded.

"Damn," he said. "But what could have bought him to do it?"

"According to Angelo Parente, possibly experience from his youth, maybe involving abuse or rape, maybe even neglect," Chris said. "I'm going to see if he's from the Cobras."

"I doubt they're this gruesome," Manson said, holding up a picture of the crime scene.

"Only one way to find out, sir," Chris said.

"Good luck then. Keep us updated," Manson said, and then Chris nodded and walked out.

As he walked to his office, Angelo was there, along with Agent Bell.

"Hey, how did it go?" He asked.

"Once autopsy is done, his roommate will be taking him back to the UK to be buried, but by what I was told, Samuel Pepper won't be missed," Angelo said as Chris took a seat.

"Guy was a full bred son of a bitch. Sexually harrased women for a laugh, made jacked up pranks of random civilians," Agent Bell said. "I'd be surprised if his parents will miss him."

"I thought you were dropping this case," Chris said, confused of TJ's presence.

"I am. I'm working another case with Agent Mabbitt. But I'm here to warn you, man," he said. "This case is gonna drive you nuts. Its useless chasing Roadkill, even if this girl spoke some useful facts. Might as well be chasing the Zodiac Killer, Cerulli."

"Look, if I don't try then that's it for the police, for us," he said. "He may be clearing the streets, but its not his jurisdiction."

"So what? I had to drop 4 cases because of the guy, one of them a TV producer from Pittsburg who was abusing his wife and ended up in his car with both his legs shoved up his ass pushing up into his spine and his tongue split in half and shoved into his ears," TJ said.

Chris cringed at the thought.

"This Roadkill case is just going to be a real pain in the ass, Chris. This isn't a good first homocide case for you," TJ said.

Chris said. "I'm gonna risk it. I need to find Roadkill."

TJ sighed. "You're a stubborn son of a bitch," He said. "But since that ahows determination, just give me a call whenever you need any help."

"Ill keep that in mind," Chris nodded as TJ then left.

"He's not wrong though. Lots of agents gave up on this one," Angelo said.

"Well, clearly they haven't met me," I said. "What else do we got of this guy?"

"Just 2 weeks ago, kidnaps a guy as a prank, and pretends to kill his best friend in front of him, abd soon after guy had to check into a ward the massive PTSD that Pepper gave him," Angelo said, handing Chris the file to read.

"Good God," he said, reviewing the report. "If Roadkill didn't kill him, I might as well have killed him."

"Yeah, guess he beat all of us," Angelo said. "By the way, Ghost called."

"Let me guess, dinner and a movie, followed by a romantic night?" Chris joked, making Angelo laugh.

"Sort of. Tomorrow night we can meet Demon," he said. "A car is gonna pick us up from the club, take us to a favorite Cobra joint."

"Great," Chris said. "I say its been a good 3 days of progress."

Soon the phone rang and Chris answered, pressing the speaker button. "Cerulli."

"Its your friendly neighborhood coroner," Dr. Malarkey's voice chimed.

"Body was shipped out to England?" Chris asked.

"Sort of. Body was found just now," She said. "Roadkill got a new victim. I just got here with my people."

Chris and Angelo look at each other and Chris sighed. "Alright, we'll be there soon. Send me the address."

"On your way," Dr. Malarkey said, and seconds later Chris's cell phone beeped.

Chris looked at it and frowned.

"Dr. Malarkey, you sure that's the right address?" He asked.

"Yep," she said. "Shocked me, too."

"Where is it?" Angelo asked.

"Cell 14A at State Correctional Institution," Chris said.

Angelo's eyes widen in shock.

"Our new victim was an inmate," Chris said.
