《15 - Abuse is Abuse》

"I hope you're fucking happy," Devin snapped as he and Chris stood in the hallway of the hospital. "He could have fucking died!"

"I'm sorry, Ghost," Chris said. "I really didn't expect it to go that far, especially with TJ."

"That asshole was tormenting him!!" Devin snapped, looking back in the room as Kuza sat by Matt's side as he slept, holding his hand. "What, you couldn't close a fist, knock some of his teeth loose?!"

Matt nearly went into shock in the ambulance. He was now pale and connected to a few machines, an oxygen mask over his face. Nurses gave him different kinds of medicine to help him, which made him really drowsy and sleepy.

That's when Angelo walked back to us.

"Well?" Chris asked.

"Doctor says he should be fine," Angelo said, and we sighed with relief.

"Apparently, his panic attack was severe, but we got him here just in time before it could get any worse," Angelo added.

"I'm gonna go check on him," Devin spoke, going in.

"Manson and Maria are dealing with TJ... And the Brazen victim's ex arrived. Bethany Olson was also contacted to fly in and meet with us," Angelo told Chris as they stood at the doorway of Matt's hospital room, watching as Devin and Kuza watched over him.

"I took a look at his medical records, Chris. This isn't the first time something like this has happened to him," Angelo said. "He's prone to attacks like those, and him and sister have been beaten by their drunk father a lot..."

Chris frowned. "His mother?"

"By what I'm told, died of a heroin overdose when he was 6," Angelo sighed. "Nurses here kind of knew him and Amelia since birth."

Kuza pulled Matt's hand toward his lips, kissing his knuckles as he gripped his hand.

"Matt was able to mention that he couldn't tell us about Roadkill... That he swore...." Chris said, remembering the cries he heard in that interrogation room.

Angelo looked back at the frail body of the dancer, who was sleeping off all the medication he was given.

"You think he's had contact with Roadkill?" Angelo asked.

"Well, its my only theory. Throwing up at one of the crime scene photos clearly kicked him off our suspect list," Chris said. "But he knows something... He's just afraid to admit it."

"Can't say I blame him," Angelo said. "But swear to what exactly?"

Chris sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Beats the hell out of me. I'll need to ask him, this time with Kuza or Devin, and I'm pretty sure Devin is in deep shit for zapping TJ."

"I'll talk to Manson," Angelo said.

"Go interrogate Arbour's ex, too. I'll talk with Bethany Olson when she arrives," Chris said. "I'll stay with them."

Angelo nodded and left as Chris watched Matt's little family watch over him.

Angelo arrived to the J. Edgar Hoover building, arriving to his floor tothen hear Manson's screams from his office.

"Hey, what the hell is going on?" He asked a female agent, Agent Kylie Devyn, as she was heading to the elevator.

"What else? Manson's mouthing off on Thomas for making that kid freak out and almost die," She said. "Now, I'm the one that has to get his blood pressure medicine before he blows a fuze."
