I woke up in a bad mood knowing today would be the day Trent walks back into my life I hate how him and my brother are butt buddies,it's whatever though. I got ready for work it's been a year since I've been leukemia free I'm proud to say I'm a survivor,but life has a way of knocking you down I was born with a heart murmur it got worse along with the cancer so now I have to deal with that, I have too much on my plate to worry about Trent he's probably married if not has a girlfriend so I'll do what I used to do as a kid ignore him. Once I got done getting ready I went downstairs to get some food before I leave. Hey you how are you feeling this morning Julius asked while handing me a plate full of healthy food, I'm great thank you I answered enthusiastically. My brother been my rock since we were kids he knew how I felt about Trent and he supported me when I told him I would stay with my god mother. When I called him My sophomore year of college from the hospital to tell him I was diagnosed with leukemia he moved to Florida with me to help take care of me he was trying to juggle school and two jobs at the same time,sometimes I feel like he missed out on life because of me,he didn't get to party and have fun like the other kids he had to take care of his sick twin sister he spent so much money on me he made sure I got treated right away he borrowed money from someone before he moved in with me to make sure I got my treatments,medicine and food that the doctor recommended.AML (adult acute myeloid leukemia) is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes abnormal myeloblasts (a type of white blood cell), red blood cells, or platelets. Adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. This type of cancer usually gets worse quickly if it is not treated so thanks to my amazing brother he did everything in his power to make sure I was good,he would stay up late with me and hold my hand while I start throwing up and he would drive out of state with me to go get treated he never showed anger towards me he's always been a carrying brother. I'm okay with Trent coming here I will stay out of the way to make sure you and your friend have a good time I told him. Don't work your self sick because you don't want to face Trent,you have to be careful I don't want you staying out late, I can guarantee you Trent will not be a problem Skai he said with a serious look on his face. Trent is my best friend but you are my blood and you've been through too much,so if Trent's staying will affect your health then I won't have it he said handing me a folder with some houses we're going to flip,my brother and I are successful realtors but we do other businesses to like restaurants and hair salons. No Julius it will be fine I'll come home at a decent hour and I won't let him affect me,now go pick up your friend I'll see you later I said walking out the door.
