Miracle

Trent and I have been going out everyday since the day we went to the flower shop. It's been two weeks and I think I'm falling for him he really is different from when we were kids he's a very nice guy and he's been so nice to me. One night he took me to dinner by the ocean it was so beautiful and romantic but I don't want to set myself up for rejection because he did say we should try being friends so I put it as him just being a good friend besides why would he want me. He was leaving the same month as my surgery which was a month from now he had to go to his country Italy for a family event. I was starting to feel alone my brother been spending most of his time with his girlfriend and soon Trent was going to be leaving. I stopped by the pet store and looked at the little golden retriever  he looked really sad lonely even, I felt connected to him he lift his little head up and whine a little bit, hey cutie I said bending down in front of him. He's only two months she said none pays him any attention he's really sweet the owner of the store said. Okay I'll buy him how much I asked. She looked at me for a while then said it's a gift you can have him for free just take him to the vet he seems healthy but get him checked anyway the young woman said. Oh thank you so much I told her as she handed me the adorable puppy. You welcome she answered you two seem to have connected you can have him besides he'll make a great per for a cancer survivor she said smiling at me. What how did you know. I asked her. Only a guess she answered as she pointed at my necklace,my aunt beat cancer to she finished handing me a bag of treats for Miracle that's what I'm going to call him,he's my miracle,he was trembling a little bit in my arms as I put him in the car. It's okay little guy you will have a nice home,I'll take good care of you I said to the frighten creature. Hi guys I said as I walked through the door, hey they all answered in unison. Oh my god who is this adorable baby Layla asked walking towards me,the guys turned around to see me holding Miracle. This is miracle I saw him at the pet store downtown and the owner gave him to me for free I told them, that was nice of them Layla said petting Miracle. Now I can move out and not be alone I have Miracle now.
