"Welcome to Macca's" I say to the girl with black hair. She's short and I can hardly see anything bellow her chin.
It's Summer and mum made me get a job, so I got one at Macca's, obviously. Being a sixteen year old male is difficult, especially when you are going to be ravenclaws quid ditch captain the next school year!
"I'd like a large serving of frys with two servings of nuggets, God I've missed this place!" The small girl cried out in a surprisingly loud voice.
"Sure thing, that'll be ten dollars, why did you say that?" I ask as I put it through the register.
"I've been away at this boarding school, Hogwarts is its name, and this is my first turn back since the last school year! I had to go camping with my family so I couldn't visit any of my favourite fast food places yet, the horror!" She cried, clutching her heart with one hand and reaching to the sky with the other, dropping to her knees with her head bent downwards.
Wait, she goes to my school?
"You know you can get it delivered by owl if you order it." I tell her, handing over the food.
"What?? And nobody told me???" She crys out in pain, taking a nugget out of the bag. "I assume you attend as well, what year? I'm in fifth and a Gryffindor."
"I'm in sixth, Ravenclaw." I say as I go to turn to the next person.
"I'm Ginny by the way, see us around." She says as she exits the building, giving me a wave.
Who knew that I'd fall for the short red head that came into Macca's.
