Chapter 9

*Bruno P.O.V*

I walked back over to where Stars, Phil and Ari were standing, looking at the computer screen. I looked at the screen. It was me standing with a girl in a ally-way and my head on the corned of her neck. My eyes widened. Stars head shot towards me. I didn't look at her, my eyes were still looking at the screen. I knew she was angry and upset.

Stars: "Bruno, look at me."

I slowly turned my head, looking at her.

Stars: "you were with another girl? That's where you have been"

Me: "what? No, you don't understand I haven't..."

Stars: "no. You know what? Save it. I'm out of here..."

She stated to speed walk towards the door if I used human speed I would reach her in time. I had to make a choice. Reveal myself or let her walk away. I didn't even have to think twice about the right answer. I can't lose her. Not again. I vamped over to her, standing in front of the door, getting in the way. Her eyes widened. She look at me in pure shock.

Stars: "how did you...?"

I looked at her. She knew the answer. I could see her putting the pieces together in the back of her head.

Stars: "you're a... Wait. I..."

Me: "You know what I am.."

Stars: "but but how Is this possible? Doesn't make sense..."

I sighed. I have to tell her everything. And I mean everything... I looked across to Phil and Ari. They were staring right at us. both of they had to same expression on their face. Confusion, shock and scared. They didn't want to know but they did at the same time.

Stars: "you didn't die, did you?"

Me: "yes. I did. That's how I'm like This now."

Stars: "Did you ask for this?"

Me: "No I didn't."

Phil: "so... Let me get this straight you're a vampire?"

I looked across to him

Me: "yes."

Ari's eyes widened.

Ari: "holy shit! I thought you were unicorn or something!"

I laughed a little. I couldn't tell by the look on his face is he was serious or not. I turned back to Stars.

Me: "I'll tell you everything over dinner?"

She faintly smiled at me and nodded her head.

Phil: "you have to tell us soon as well."

Bruno: "I will, don't worry"

Phil: "over a dinner date too?"

I looked at him with a 'what the heck?' Look.

I moved away from the door and opened it. I let Stars go through the door first and got out closely behind her. I know that Miles is out here somewhere And i don't plan on finding him. I placed my arm over her shoulder, pulling her closer to me. She placed her arm around me lower back sending chills go through my spine.

We sat down at the table. I tried to keep my head down so nobody would recognise me. It's been a long time so I don't think nobody would know me but they would know Stars so it worries me.

Stars: "what's it like?"

Me: "how do you mean?"

I set my elbows on the table and place my hands together.

Stars: "is there any difference from then to how you are now?"

Me: "yeah. Weather doesn't effect me anymore since I'm always cold.

Stars: "does your heat beat?"

I laughed a little.

Me: "yes or I probably would be able to move since no blood would be moving around my body..."

Stars: "so your blood is just cold?"

Me: "yeah. But when we feed on. Um"

Stars: "human."

Me: "yeah. Their blood is warm so it heats us up and it lasts for about a week depending on how much blood we take. If we stop feeding completely and all of the heat from the blood goes. We die."

Stars: "but... Couldn't you just eat hot food? Human food I mean..."

Me: "you see... It's really complicated. No. We can't. Out body exchanges the hot blood for our cold blood. So once it goes cold, we need new hot blood. Do you understand?"

Stars: "it's quite complicated. But I guess so. Yeah"

Me: "great."

Stars: "what about your eyes? Why do they change colour?"

Me: "depending on our mood they change. But it has to be a strong emotion that over powers the rest for them to change colour. Like if I was angry and happy and the same time. Not much would happen but if I was a hell of a lot more angry, they would turn more red."

Stars: "oh. Do you um. Do you have... Fangs?"

I smiled at her. I looked around.

Me: "i can show you later?"

Stars: "alright."

I could sense that she was slightly nervous. She has no reason to be. I could never hurt her.
