Chapter 1: First Day in Seoul

Scarlet's POV

Uhm... Finally here I am.
I'm now in Seoul, South Korea. My parents and I moved here because of their work, the company is going to have a branch in here, and my parents are assigned to handle this branch. Its hard to adjust, because you have to find new friends, a new school and live a new life.

I am already done unpacking my stuffs. In a few weeks, I will be starting my first day on my new school. I hope I can easily find new friends and I hope I can adjust easily.

I woke up from my sleep and as always, I do my morning routine.
I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom to take a bath.
I changed my outfit and put on a plain pink shirt and jeans.

"Scarlet, breakfast is ready" my mom called me, and I ran down the stairs quickly because I'm so hungry, and I didn't have the time to eat dinner yesterday because I was so tired and I fell asleep way too early.

"Yes, finally, breakfast is served", I said raising my hand high in the air. My mom laughed at my reaction because I looked like a hungry little child.

"What?!!!" I asked mom because she is still laughing at me.
"Nothing... its just that I can't believe that my daughter is now a grown-up and now a high school student-----" Mom had a tear drop so I interrupted her talking and said "Aw, Mom please don't be so emotional, you'll make my cry too" then I hugged her. Suddenly dad came, "Oh sorry, am I disturbing my two angels?". "Oh, Of course not" mom said, then she handed father a plate so he could eat too.

There was a moment of silence, so I opened up a topic, "Mom, Dad, can I go out and explore this new place?" I asked them. "Of course, why not?", Dad said. "Okay, honey just be careful", Mom said. "Okay, Thank You Mom and Dad".

I quickly checked myself in the mirror and started brushing my hair, after I finished fixing myself, I excitedly grabbed my bicycle and headed towards the exit.

I listened to my favorite playlist. I started singing while I was dancing in my mind.
After a short ride, I passed through the park, and I decided to stay there to relax and enjoy the view. I parked my bike in the parking area and went to find a seat.

I sat on a bench near the tree, and started playing random games in my phone. I heard a bell rang, and I excitedly got up from my seat and headed towards the cart, it was an Ice Cream Cart. I bought a chocolate flavored ice cream because chocolate is my favorite. I was enjoying eating my ice cream while I was walking until I saw something on the ground. It was a picture of a cute little boy. I've decided to look for the little boy in the park, because I would like to return it to him, but I didn't find him, maybe he left already.

I got back to my seat and started playing games again. One guy sat beside me and smiled at me.

"Hello" he said while smiling at me.

"Uhm...Hi???" I didn't know what to say because I don't know him so I just greeted him too.

"Uhm... Hello again! My name is Jackson, Jackson Wang. So are you new here? because I know almost everyone here in the park and it's my first time seeing you in here".

"Well yeah, I'm new here, I'm an exchange student from California, Los Angeles", I said.

"Woah, you are  from California, Los Angeles, but I must tell you, being an exchange student is hard you know, because there will be a lot of changes to happen".

"Yeah I guess, because it's hard to adjust and adopt", I commented.

"Uhm... by the way can I know your name?", Jackson asked.
