Chapter 13: Official Or Not?

Mark's POV

I just came home from Eunmi's place because we just finished our report.

I lied on my bed then I got up. I decided to check my bag because I felt that I just need to.

I opened my bag and looked inside it, but suddenly, I saw a familiar thing.

"Goodbye Class" Our last teacher said.

"Goodbye Sir" We all said and fixed our bags.

We packed all our things but suddenly, Scarlet dropped something. It was a piece of a crumpled paper.

She quickly picked it up and hide it in her pocket.

What is written in that note?

"Let's go now Scarlet" Sangjun said then they both left.

Scarlet passed through me and left with Sangjun.

How did it get here in my bag?

I opened the paper and it was a long note for me.

"Sorry Mark. I don't know why are you mad at me and why are you ignoring me but I felt that I did something wrong. Its like your mad at me because it's my fault. I really don't know what's the reason why are you acting like that but I hope you can forgive me. By the way, thank you again for saving me from detention. Thank you Mark. I quickly fixed myself and got out of the room. I went downstairs quickly while holding the note.

I quickly got inside my car and I drove it to her house quickly.

I was now in front of their house so I knocked. I don't care if her parents will see me, I just need to talk to her and say sorry.

Suddenly, the door opened.

"Oh. Hello there. Do you need anything?" A lady asked.

It must be Scarlet's mom.

"Uhm... Hello Ma'am. I'm a friend of Scarlet and I'm just going to tell her something. Is she here?" I asked politely.

"Uhm... She's not yet home. Just come inside and wait for her" Her mom said and let me in.

"Thank you" I said then I sat down on the couch.

"Scarlet is with her classmate, they're doing a report. Am I right?" Her mom said.

"Yes Ma'am. The report was assigned by pairs" I explained.

"Oh. Okay" She said.

"Don't worry she'll be here soon. Just wait a minute" Her mom said.
