Chapter 10: Seat Belt

Jackson's POV

"Nah. I'm fine. Let's go. Its getting late already" I said.

"Uhm... okay" She said but I stopped her.

She really looks tired and I want to help her. I want to show her that I'm a gentleman.

"Wait... give me your bag" I said.

"No. I'm okay. And besides we're not going to walk so I'll just carry it" She said.

"No, because you're tired already" I said then she sighed and handed me the bag in defeat.

"Okay. Let's go now" She said and I carried her bag.

Scarlet went out first and she's already outside waiting. I was about to close the door but suddenly Jinyoung stopped me.

"Hey! Good luck! Make sure to drive slow so you can have your special moment" Jinyoung said then winked.

"Shut up Jinyoung" I said then hit him.

"Haha. You're so obvious. Look at your face, you're really blushing hard" He teased.

"Okay. Bye now. I can't keep her waiting outside okay" I said.

"Okay. Fighting!" Jinyoung said then smirked.

"Whatever" I said then laughed.

I closed the door and went to Scarlet, she's already in the front of the car.

"Sorry for keeping you wait" I said.

"Its okay. Let's go now" She said and I quickly walked in front of her so I can open the door.

"Here you go, Madam" I said then bowed.

"Thank you Butler" She said then got inside the car.

I walked on the other side then I opened the door and sat down.

"Really Scarlet? Butler?" I said then folded my arms.

"Yes. You started it so you can't blame me" She said then stick out her tongue.

"But Madam is fancy and Butler is kind of.. I don't know" I said.

"Hey! Butler is fancy too huh. So want do you want me to call you? A maid?" She said then smirked.

"Aish! This girl really" I said then messed up her hair.

"Hey! My hair!" She complained.

"You're so cute" I said then pinched her cheek.

"Ouch!" She said she said then caressed her left cheek.

"Does it still hurts?" I said then leaned closer to caress her cheek.

"Uhm... it's okay now" She said.

Then I realized that she felt awkward because our face we're just inches apart. I quickly backed off because I don't want this time to be awkward. I gulped then I spoke to avoid the awkwardness.

"Okay. I'll drive now" I said then started the engine.

"Uhm... O-okay" She said then looked away.

After a few minutes, not one of us started to talk so I opened up a topic.

"So, this day must be tiring for you huh? Because you took care of me and Mark" I said.

"Oh that. Its okay. After all, you're my friends. Of course, I'll help you guys" She said.

"Okay. But Scarlet, among me and Mark... who will you choose to take care of?" I asked.
