Cure of 54

On the way

((NOTE!!: If anyone is still confused on the whole disease and gas things I am gonna tell you. Luckily if you have been reading the chapters lately Xavier and his team has created a cure to the "Confinjia gas" and which his wife used herself as the tester to the cure which did not cure her but only made her sorta into a "flesh eating zombie" which we all know spread across the world or at least they know and people who were survivors basically did stop having the Confinjia disease from the government not able to control the gas anymore and well it just doesn't lighten up from the 54s Xavier might of sorta..yeah created oh and btw if for example "*....*" this it's someone else's mind))

"Finally! Some clean air for once on our planet,just look at it guys..seriously." Zack waved around his skinny arms and danced in joy

As always Zack is trying to brighten up everyone's mood but I feel like it's not the moment. We're hungry,tired and all bummed from being in that safe-room

"Zack I know you're trying to brighten this up but can you please just leave us alone." Maria patted Zack's back and looked over to me

I quickly looked away from her bummed out stare and grabbed my thermometer out of my pocket to find the weather rising reaching to 87 degrees; sliding my sweat covered hair back and wiping my shirt over my face

"Wait! stop...I think I heard something" cried out Alexia "I've never encountured zombies like this.."

"Actually they're called 54's" I whipped my gun out of my bag quickly zipping it back up "Are you sure the sound you heard was them?"

We all looked around crossing the parking lot of one of the Baltimore malls I felt mostly unsafe here since we were basically out in the open in a busy place the only thing hiding us was crouching down to cars whom are parked/crashed/on fire.

"Possibly,if we find a safe car I can Hotwire it Xavier taught me" Zack whispered to the others

In a slight distance we hear a groaning of an 54 I grab Zack and Maria's wrist back behind me and signal the others to grab their guns.

"It's only one 54 coming at us and not in a group possibly we could pass it" I look back at the others which were looking me like I was stupid

"Are you nuts?? We all know from it's piercing screams it's going to attract more ; this is serious Dude!" Leo screamed out anxiously

"You're really getting on my nerves kid" I growled to him

"This isn't time to have conversations guys!!" Zack pulls out one of his axes and swings right for the 54's neck

For an moment after the impact there was a complete silence for what we just witnessed.

"Well that wasn't what I suspected from me,but at least we're safe".

"For an intern I say you're pretty badass,young man. Why didn't use a gun though?" Jordan poking at the body with his rifle

" First of all I use it because it's more silent, second of all my always choice of weapon was an axe but no Xavier had to lose my favorite one."

" Yes! We're almost there 2 miles until we're out of Baltimore" I started to get excited for finally getting out of here only about 49 miles away

"So why do you majorly want to go to our worlds capital at this point of time." Alexia asked.

"Well right now for the love and sake of humanity Alexia. So much people could be saved" I truly didn't want to explain the whole story again to her and I still felt like I shouldn't trust telling them that I was one of the reasons of this....yet.
