Cure of 54

I've fallen and I cant get up

"WHHhhyyy?!?" I fell to my knees to Zack

I looked behind to find my wife who was gone

"Shiiiiittttt,this FUCKING HURTS,owwww." Zack cringes and curls up trying to stop the bleeding

"WHERE DID SHE SHOOT YOU?!" Maria quickly dropped to Zack pulling out the medical kit

"MY FUCKING LEG.IT WENT RIGHT THROUGH ME!!" Zack quickly held onto his leg squirming around the floor to stop the pain

"I am SOOO sorry!!" Laney quickly held onto Zack crying

"He said it went right through his leg then why didn't it hit you Mr.Dao?!" Jonathan quickly patted my body for wounds

"No , I quickly ducked when I heard her even pull out the gun! Who's going to help Zack??"

"I can try my best. I am veterinarian..." Jason's wife finally stepped In and grabbed the kit

"I DONT CARE IF YOU ARE A VETERINARIAN, VEGETARIAN , AQUARIAN. Just stop the pain!! I'm bleeding!!"

"Good idea! Our science and animal science can work together!" Jonathan quickly clean the blood

"Wow,you are so lucky. You were shot in the leg fat behind your shins. And the bullet went right through so we don't have to take out any bullet pieces. Which is really surprising, basically all I'm saying is that we just need to stitch you up but you need to calm down!!" Jason's wife took out the needle and thread while Jonathan cleaned off his leg and the others held him down

"I'm really sorry I did this." Laney looked at Zack tearing up

"SCREW YOU!" Zack cried out from all the pain begging that his leg was just cut off which I felt like was all my fault. Zack Velco,I swear he's the greatest friend and co-worker you could have.

Laney leaned downed and grabbed Zack and kissed him "I'm serious I didn't mean to hurt you. I actually really like you..."

"You should of done that early before you shot him and everything he's passed out from the pain already anyway." Telis laughed as we all did.

A few hours passed most of the group fell asleep since we were in a safe small clean room. But Jonathan and I were searching for the bottle

"It's 2:38 A.M. are you sure you can stay up and be okay in the moring?" Jonathan asked while he pushed through all the files

"Well,if i'm this devoted I think I can,how about you Jonathan?"

"Mr.Dao,trust me,I am a father now." Jonathan laughed

I sighed and picked through the bottles "WE'RE CLOSE, this is the 12th named bottle closer to the cure. Come on Jonathan we can find the cure. All we need is just to mix the bottles.." I paused seeing something down the hallway pass the other where my wife was at

"And?..." Jonathan looked at me confused

"OH..and someone to test it on...so we need to find a 54 also..." I looked again at the door

"And we can't have the same conceaquences" Jonathan laughed again placing the other gallons out

The room was bright as day, white and clean as ever then there was the two doors the one I came from to enter the research room which was a thick metal door and the other door which was a thick metal door also with a window. The hallway was dirty which I fear that it was filled with 54's.

"Mr.Dao are you sure you're alright?" Jonathan looked at me as I kept shaking my hands

"Yeah..yeah I'm just excited that we're at this point. The day that I thought would never come. Well,not like I wanted this to happen."

Jonathan stopped and looked at me hesitantly "What are you trying to say? You didn't mean to do this right? We didn't mean to do this right?" He set everything down for a moment and waited for my response

"I...uh. No I mean, I DID want a better place for this world and that we can live better. But NOT like this."

Jonathan went back at looking through the file as everything was quiet for a while 

I squealed like a teenage girl at a concert "HERE IT IS JONATHAN AT LAST! ha! I knew I was right all along!! I knew it would be here!"

Jonathan stared at me like I was crazy "but...Mr.Dao that's not the right one.."

 "Are you joking I'm pretty sure that this will be it!!"

 Jonathan took of his glasses and set them in his pocket and ruffled through his thick hair and yawned "I think we had enough searching for tonight Mr.Dao. You really need some sleep hopefully we all feel better in the morning." Jonathan looked at Zack

 "We all should feel better in the morning."
