Cure of 54

The inside

August 22,2234 - Honestly, I thought I was at my point of giving up hope yesterday August 21,2234. Some of my members and I were face to face with 54's. Luckily at the last second Telis (The current presidents son) got the door open. As we were in the Oval Office we got all the maps and other sources we needed in order to get to the part of the cure. We're currently in an secret hallway which all traps have been disabled.

"Xavier,you're gonna have to come look at this!" Zack called out to me while he was in front of everyone. I quickly went over to him to find a stack of paper work scattered all around,I pick up the paper to find the words "Do not worry. Go to panic room. If you feel a slight difference do not enter panic room. You may be experiencing the disease of which is going around. Please let others be safe" and so on...

"I think these were instructions of some sort. We'll take some just in case they're actually helpful. Now we still have to be careful of where we are at all times."

"So tell me Xavier,why are you here at the white house? Since I will most likely be in charge since my father is gone." Telis explained tapping the back of me.

"Well,kid that would be absurd. To have a 14 year old boy president of the world." I chuckled while the others looked at me

"Xavier..how long is it going to be to find this cure? I want my old life back." Maria cried out to me while she was behind everyone else

"Maria..please. Don't start up again" I paused "Maria,we are your life now. Please accept the fact of that. Realize you're not alone." I wrapped my arm around her and smirked

"And for the sake of everyone. No ones out to get each other. Xavier and I loved you since you came with us. Even though you tried killing us and tried escaping. It's ALL the past.Hahaha" Zack laughed sarcastically as the rest kept walking

We reached an hall of some sort with a sign reading 'Project Hall'

" This is a good sign! Just stay quiet."

I opened the doors to find a gruesome scene of tied up body bags going down the hall.

"What happen to these people Telis??" I grabbed Telis to the front of us

"Ah,oh my go-" Maria starts to get sick "the smell. I can't."

"If any 54's come I'll use my Axe. The guns will trigger more 54's." Zack grabbed his axe

"I. -don't know at all.I NEVER been here." Telis started to get sick

 We all speed walked trough the hallway to reach the end. I still wondered of what happened to those bodies. When I really think about it we don't see many bodies on the ground because they zombies aren't zombies where normal humans die and then come back to life ; but they're alive the whole time. None really attack each other but get humans. I know the normal person is still there.

 As the door opened we find a completely dark room. The fear grew in all of us knowing we have to touch a unknown wall to find the light

 As I reached around the wall I could feel some slime which freaked me out thank my mind for remembering my gloves.Sadly, I'm mostly thinking this slime is blood. Gross.

Finally I find the switch to several flickering fluorescent lights to an all white room with about three rows of computers and seats with a big screen television in front of it all with little televisions on the side.

"What is this place?" Maria asked Telis

"The...control room."
