Chapter Fifteen

Marinette gripped her blanket tightly and sighed into the warm cloth. She furrowed her eyebrows as she heard a soft steady drumming underneath her. She patted around the hard surface.

Well this isn't right...

She shot up and stared wide eyed at the boy laying in front of her. She gasped and quickly slapped a hand over her mouth. The boy underneath her was no one other than Adrien Agreste.

What the hell happened? What the hell is happening?!

The boy beneath her groaned an turned onto his side, tugging Marinette back onto his chest. Marinette's face flamed as she thought back to what happened.

The last thing I remember is watching the Proposal with Chat Noir... There's no way- Adrien couldn't possibly be- no! This is all some misunderstanding. It's-

Marinette's phone went off and she darted up, panting heavily and holding a fist to her chest. She looked around her pink room for any sign of Adrien or Chat but saw nothing.

Great. She had been so worked up with her torn thoughts, she had ended up dreaming Adrien was Chat Noir. That would have solved so many issues. She sighed before grabbing her phone to stop the busy, just to catch the time.

"Oh crap Tikki! School!" The little lilac eyed red kwami flew up to Marinette's face.

"You're gonna be late Marinette!" Marinette rushed around the room pulling on all her clothes. She tripped as she put her flats on and grabbed a black and lime colored jacket she made after Chat before noticing the note on her desk.

She picked herself up and Tikki sat on her shoulder.

She picked up the paper and read it out loud.

Dear Marinette,

Thanks for letting me stay and bake cupcakes and watch that movie with you. I don't get to see too many movies so you should get another one for when I visit again. And also, you talk in your sleep. It's cute. I'll see you later Princess.

Love, Chat.

She smiled at the note but frowned when she got to the end.

How does he know that?

"Marinette! Your neck!" Tikki exclaimed as she was putting her hair into her signature pigtails.

"What do you mean- oh my gosh! It's still there!" She placed a hand on the bruising hickey Chat had given her yesterday.

"Marinette what are you gonna do? If you don't leave now you'll be late again and you'll get grounded!"

Marinette quickly untied the ribbons in her hair and let her blue hair cascade down. The wavy locks covered Chat's mark and framed her face perfectly.

"Let's go!"

They were halfway through the day when Chloe decided to pick on Marinette. She was walking to her next class when Chloe decided to trip Marinette halfway down the stairs. Marinette's papers flew as she tumbled down the rest of the stairs, landing on her wrist. Hard.

She cried out in pain but quickly tried to gather her stuff before Chloe could.

"Marinette!" Alya and Nino rushed per to her and helped her up, Alya picking up the papers and Nino holding Marinette.
