I inhaled deeply, and exhaled. What is Shawn gonna think? He's gonna leave me. Damnit, I forgot to take birth control. I sit in shock, soon my eyes felt droopy and fall off my chair. The last thing I see is my doctor running to me.

2 HOURS LATER

"Edwina, baby. Wake up."

I shuffle in my hospital bed. I feel someone's hand in mine, Shawn? My eyes instantly open, I look over to my hand enclosed with a muscular one. Slowly, my eyes meet his. I feel my heart swell. Tears begin falling, I begin sobbing hysterically. I fucked up.

"I'm sorry Shawn, I'm so fucking sorry."

I hold both of my hands and cover my face, my tears pooling in my hands. Why is he here? I fucked up and now I've ruined both of our lives. Well his. I wanted a family with him but now? Is he even ready yet?

"Beautiful, don't cry."

Shawn holds both of my hands to prevent covering my face and kisses them.

"I ruined your life Shawn, what the hell am I supposed to do?"

I hiss, Shawn doesn't move an inch. But instead he holds me in his arms, I was connected to wires. I figured I fainted from the news I got.

"Edwina, it's okay."

"In what world is this okay Shawn? You're gonna leave me with the baby."

"Who said I was going to leave?"

I stop crying momentarily, looking at Shawn wide eyed.

"What?"

"I'm not leaving Edwina. I want us to have a family. I know we're young.. but we'll be okay. My singing career is really expanding, I'll support the baby that way. You're a senior this year, once you have our baby I'll be here to pay until you find a job. You're trying to be a surgeon right? I'll be here always, we'll take care of this baby together. Edwina I don't ever wanna leave you. We'll find a way, I promise." Shawn kisses my cheek, tears falling down his.

"Shawn this is a life decision, what if-"

He cuts me off.

"No what if's Edwina. If there are problems we will fix them alright? I don't want you to be alone with this, you're holding my baby. Our baby. And I'm not going to give you or our little angel up for anything."

He holds onto my stomach. I crack a small smile, kissing his lips. He smiles into the kiss.

We'll figure this out.
