Demi's POV

One Week Later

" So, what's going on in your head? " Selena asks as we step out of the Jetway.

" Oh nothing, just the thought of me strangling you for making me come. " I say glaring at her, she just gives me a goofy grin trying to lighten my mood.

" You better watch your back. " I say walking away from her out into the crowd.

" You're going to thank me when you get him back. " She says as we walk to the luggage pickup.

" Yeah, whatever. " I say watching the different bags go around waiting for mine to show up. We soon get our bags and go outside to find our ride, Joe told me on the phone that he'll send a cab for us.

" So, have you looked her up yet? " Selena asks eating some peanuts she got from the plane.

" Who? Blanda? " I ask unsure of who she's talking about.

" Yeah. " She replies looking at the many cars and cabs that drive past us.

" Nope, I didn't want to make myself even more depressed. " I say stealing one of the peanuts out of her hand.

" That's probably a good thing then, are you prepared to meet her today? " Selena then asks me making me wonder myself.

" I don't know, hopefully. " I reply looking down at the ground.

" Is that the paparazzi? " I hear Selena ask confusing me, I look up and see a bunch of men with cameras looking like they are waiting for someone.

" Why would they be here? " I ask wondering whats going on, their eyes then widen over in our direction and they run towards us. Selena and I start to back up slowly.

" Hey guys. " I hear behind me, I look around and see Joe getting out of a car coming towards us.

" Hey. " Selena says giving him a quick hug, I look over at him and feel my eyes roam his body. Today he's wearing a grey beanie which makes me stare longer than I should, I step in and give him a hug that's slightly long. I feel butterflies in my stomach just being in front of him, we glance into each other's eyes for the slightest second before he looks back to Selena awkwardly.

" I thought a cab was picking us up? " I ask as the paparazzi get to us and start snapping pictures. We then start to load the car with our luggage in the trunk trying to hurry to get away from the cameras.

" Well, I got some free time and I thought I should come get you myself. " He says with a nervous smile, I nod with a soft smile as well as we get in the car. I sit up front with Joe and Selena gets in the back, i'm glad that he came to pick us up himself.

" It's nice to see you Selena. " Joe says with a friendly smile as we drive away.

" Thanks, it's good to see you too Joe. " She says to him looking over him, she then continues with '' You sure have changed since we last saw each other. "

" You too. " Joe replies with a chuckle, he then gives me a side glance that I don't think was intended cause he looks away quickly.

" So who else is going to be there? " I ask wondering who else I have to meet, I stare at him hoping he doesn't realize that I can't help but look away.

" It's gonna be just my family, with a few friends of mine and then her family and a few friends of hers. " He says looking happy over at me.

" Cool. " I say excited to see Nick and Kevin again, they were like my brothers. We drive for a while in somewhat of an awkward stage until we finally get to a point of the town that's smaller, we drive down some road that's surrounded by trees and nature until twenty minutes later, we reach a beautiful grand gate. Vans line the gate with Paparazzi who long to get behind the gate, Joe drives the car up and opens the gate by putting in a code. The Paparazzi take as many pictures of us before we pass through and close the gate.
