Demi's POV

I drive towards the parking lot feeling his eyes on my movements, I just smirk loving that I have power over him. I drive around until I find a perfect spot underneath a tree. I park the car and turn it off, I look down in my lap and see his eyes staring through the corners of my eyes. I giggle when he leans forward trying to get my attention. 

I slightly move my face's direction towards him with a wide grin seeing all of his beautiful features. He smirks towards me letting his eyes travel the rest of my body. 

" I'll race you there. " I hurry and say taking off my seat belt as quickly as I can, then opening the door and running. I hear his door open and close as well behind me, I run past the gate of the park and inside seeing many people. I look behind me to see where he is and see him only few feet from me which makes me laugh and run harder. 

I run to the basketball courts seeing a few teenagers playing basketball, I stop when I get there and see them stop their game to look at me. I grin when Joe stops beside me with a grin, the teenage boys look at us like we are strange. Joe waves towards them trying not to laugh, one waves back with a confused expression before they go back to their game. 

" I beat you again Jonas. " I say turning my whole body towards him trying not to laugh very loudly. 

" That's because you're a cheater. " He says with raised eyebrows poking me in the stomach. I chuckle from his funny expression. 

" Oh really? " I say poking him back which makes him smile, I then poke him several times making him back up. He stops me by grabbing my wrists playfully and bringing me into his embrace. I laugh trying to get out of his arms but he just continues to hold me slightly tickling me at the same time making me laugh. 

" Can't breath. " I say when my laughing gets out of control, he slows down but keeps his grip on me. I turn my face towards him and see a cocky smile on his face. 

" Who's the loser now? " He jokingly asks making me stick my tongue out at him. He just grins and picks me up surprising me, I try to get out of his grip but am unable to. 

" Revenge is sweet. " He says starting to tickle me again while i'm in the air in his arms. I laugh again hating my weaknesses. He slowly fades out with the tickling when he knows I need a breath. He then picks me up bridal style surprising me. He grins when my arms go around his neck. 

He then starts to walk to the bridge, I snuggle my face in his neck loving every piece of him. When we get to the bridge, he gently sets me back down on my feet. I don't let my arm around him leave though, he puts his arm around my waist. We both look out to the calm water beneath the bridge enjoying the peace of this park. I look where I am standing and smile. 

" Come here. " I say taking his hand and leading him a few feet further on the bridge. 

" What? " He asks a little confused but still smiling with his beautiful white teeth. 

" Stand right there. " I say placing him in the right spot letting his confusion grow. I take a few steps back from him placing myself in the right spot as well. I then look at him and grin. 

" What's going on in your head? " He questions with raised eyebrows. 

" That's the exact spot when you came over to talk to Selena and I. The official place where we met. " I say slowly which makes his face go serious. He looks at me with softness in his eyes looking happy despite his soberness. 

" You remember the exact spot. " He says as if he were touched, I grin seeing his smile slowly return. I look at his features realizing how much he's changed since then. 

For a moment, my breath is knocked away because I see him. His old self the day we met....His dark shirt and tight pants...his hand holding my chap-stick...his bushy eyebrows...and his gorgeous sparkling eyes. 

The image of his past self fades away, everything except his eyes. They stay the same.

My emotions seem to catch on fire and explode inside of me, seeing everything he was and what he is now. The accomplishments he's achieved, the trials he's faced, our journey together. I know that in this moment I could never love another like I love him. He's mine. 

He's the only one who will hold me at my weakest times, tell me i'm beautiful when i'm at my ugliest, and is the only one who will truly love me at my worst. I always think about how my thoughts are free to think anything and he's always the first thing to pop up in my mind. I find that when someone truly loves you and you love them back, they empower every part of your mind, life, feelings, and heart. 

I guess you could say that I am just glad that Joe is the one to empower me.
