Three Months Later

Demi's POV

" I guess it isn't that bad. " I say sarcastically which makes Joe chuckle, I lay back against his couch feeling comfort along my back expand. " I could get used to this place. " 

" Well, you better since I don't feel like moving all of your stuff back out. " He says with a half grin sitting down next to me placing his arm around my shoulders. 

" Yeah me either. " I say laying my head on his chest which makes him smile. Today, Joe and I took a big step in our relationship and moved in together. Well I moved into his huge apartment in New York which looks over the streets of the city, it's so gorgeous. I still can't believe i'm going to be living with him from now on.

Selena was a little dissapointed about me moving out of our apartment and far away, but I think she'll be okay with dating Nick who stays with her most of the time. It wouldn't surprise me if they both moved into his apartment soon though.

Joe and I have been very secretive with everything we do since we don't want the world to know we are back together yet. We want to give it some time before the world see's that Joe has moved on from his " Almost Marriage" as they have been calling it lately. I'm just a little surprised that they haven't caught us yet, we're not too good at keeping it undercover. 

" So what do you think? Do you think we made the right decision moving in together so quickly? " He asks me sincerely making me smile. 

" Well, I guess I'll just have to answer that question after I see how well you cook and clean. " I reply with a chuckle which makes him grin. 

" Don't worry, I won't let you down on those type of things " He says kissing the top of my head with a slight chuckle. 

" Good, you should be good at laundry too cause I hate doing that. " I say which makes him grin, his happiness showing so clearly.

" What, am I going to be your maid now? " He asks with chuckle making me laugh, just picturing him in a maid outfit makes me laugh longer and harder. 

" That doesn't sound too bad. " I say which makes him smile and wrap both of his arms around me making me feel loved. 

" You're too cute. " He says making me grin and look up at him, he's full of smiles and joy which makes me happy. Sometimes, I look at him and think how could he even be real? He's just so perfect.

" Why thank you. " I say which makes him lean in and kiss me softly on my lips, I smile when I feel his smile on my lips. I put up my hand to place on his cheek and we just hold each other, locked into each other's lips. 

We then go up to his bedroom deciding it's a good time to go to sleep considering all of the work we did today moving my stuff in. I think it will be worth it, I know we've only been back together for three months now and it's been kind of weird because of the previous engagement thing with him, but I think everything will work out just fine. 

Joe and I are closer than ever and that's all that matters right now. The feeling of having him back after all of the torturous years without him, feels so amazing and i'm just grateful he came after me. He decided what was best for his heart, and it happened to be that I was best for it. Which is a great feeling to know that.

One Week Later

I walk into the Starbucks feeling eyes on me making me remember the old feeling, I sure am going to have to get used to this again. A few days ago, Joe and I decided to break the ice and go out in public. Of course the paparazzi caught us together and the next morning, the headlines read " Jemi Is Back On!"

Joe walks in behind me quickly retrieving my hand which makes me smile. I can see one of the paparazzi follow us inside with a few fans as well. Joe signs some autographs and takes some pictures while I order our drinks, I smile seeing his happiness around his fans. A few even come up to me and ask for a picture which I gladly say yes to. 

After getting our drinks and talking with some of the fans, we walk out greeting the paparazi. We walk hand in hand onto the sidewalks ignoring the cameras. 

" You alright? " Joe asks me with a half smile making me feel good inside knowing he's concerned. 

" I'm great. " I say giving him a smile which makes him look happier. I hold his hand tight as we continue to go on our walk.

" Kevin and Danielle have invited us over for dinner tonight at their house if you want to go? Nick will be there as well. " Joe tells me making me feel excited. 

" I would love to. " I say taking a sip from my hot drink. 

" Cool, I'll call him and tell him we can make it when we get back home. " He says making me smile, I love how we both call it home now. 

" Sounds good, ask him if they need us to bring anything over. " I say feeling weird inside, I feel like we're acting as a married couple already. I can't help but grin at the thought. 

" Sure thing. " Joe replies as we get closer to the apartment building, we walk inside being able to lose the paparazzi. We then go up to our apartment on the elevator, I hop in the shower while Joe calls Kevin once we get there. 

I start to sing forgetting that Joe can probably hear me, I guess it's just out of habit. I let the warm water hit my face loving the feeling. After a few minutes, I hear the bathroom door open making me wonder why he's walking in here right now. 

" Joe, is that you? " I ask wondering if he just needs something. 

" Yup. " he says loudly so I can hear him over the sound of the water. I then look behind me and see his head suddenly come through the curtain with a goofy grin. 

" Joe! What are you doing? " I laugh trying to cover up as much as I can with my hands. He just smirks and walks away making me stop the shower. I open the curtain and grab my towel wrapping it around me making him laugh and run away. I run after him after I dry my feet so I won't slip, when i'm in the bedroom, I look around and see no one here. I then feel strong arms wrap around me from behind making me jump. 

" Hey babe. " He says holding me making me laugh, I then kiss him loving his goofiness. 

" So this is your plan? To get me to run out here in my towel? " I ask as he pulls me closer turning me around so i'm facing him. 

" Oh yeah. " He says before ripping off my towel quickly with the goofiest grin.
