One - And... Action!

"No," I said triumphantly, turning around. "It's you, who needs to understand where your place is."

In my mind, all I could think about was how excited I was to get out of the 6 inch heels in like than 5 minutes and go home. Being an actress is not as glamorous as it looks - ask the blisters on the bottom of my foot if you don't believe me.

"I already know my place Lara, do you know yours?" My co-star James (also known as Spencer Boldman, Hollywood's rising star) said, holding his hand out for me.

I turned around and saw his hand out-stretched, then saw his face. He was cute, but his girlfriend wouldn't be if she heard my mind right now. I shook my head and crossed my arms. "I do, and it's most definitely not beside you. Goodbye."

I walked off set with a jacket behind my shoulders. The movie I am starring in is called 'A Cheaters Lie' which is about a guy (Spencer Boldman) who is dating a socialite - me - and is also seeing another woman called Lindsey, who's the daughter of a super rich business man. This scene was my last seen of the movie, in where I leave James for the dirty work he did. And I'm damn proud.

"And... Cut!" The director yelled.

The atmosphere around the room exploded into excitement and cheers, everyone wooing that a long days work was finally over. I cheered myself a little, getting out of this skin tight dress and these heels seems almost like a dream, and a dream I am willing to fulfill.

Right now.

This second.

As I entered my dressing room and was about to put my jacket on, my publicist, Shenna McCarthy, burst in the room and hugged me. I hugged her back, knowing that she was proud I had finally completed this long, hard film.

"I'm so proud of you." She said, hugging me again.

"I'm proud of me too Shen." I whispered. She quickly moved back and rolled her eyes.

"I'm not too proud of that attitude of yours Mandy, I hope you do realise in order to be successful it has to go." She said as she took my jacket out of my hands.

"What are you doing with my jacket?" I asked, reaching out for it. She moved it away from me of course, her being who she is.

"We have a dinner to go to Mandy, your dinner, because you finished the film for goodness sake, it's common sense." She said as she slung it over her arm.

"Jheeze, I'm sorry mom." I said as I rolled my eyes. "Can I at least get changed, or can we move the dinner date? Or even better, let's just celebrate with a glass of wine. That's quicker and easier. Let's do that."

Shenna huffed as she heard my idea. I really love her. She's my mom when my moms not here. She's the one who guides me, and supports the decisions I make. I may seem like a bitch to her, but I'm not a bitch to her.

At least I think that.

No but seriously guys, it's all love.

"I'll check with the guys Mands, but if they have already reserved a damn table then you're gonna have to be uncomfortable for a little longer." And with that she left.

I sat at my dressing table and admired my face. As a teenager, I never felt happy with the body I was in. I wasn't bullied, nor did I develop an eating disorder, but when I used to look in the mirror I used to see everything I didn't want to see. I'm now 24, and look at myself not for what I used to look at myself like, but for what I really am. I'd like to think I'm quite a open, happy person. My sarcasm does affect people in many ways, and I'm quite approachable. And I may come across as cocky about my looks but it's all done through a joke. Well.

I admired the highlight my makeup artist did for me, and kept trying to close my eye to see my amazing eyeliner but it wouldn't work. Thanks Laws of Biology.

I heard a knock on my door and before I could say 'come in!', Shenna was already in and smiling. I nooded my head awkwardly, unaffected at her barging in.

"Sorry sweetie, but we can celebrate tomorrow because Director Dan wants to get home, h has been here since 6am." She smiled as she said the last thing and I smiled too. I get to go home, and rest and sleep and eat and I don't want to rave but I'll repeat the other 3.

"Yay! Thanks Shenna! See you tomorrow! I took my heels off and held them in one hand, whilst awkwardly putting my jacket on. I ran to my car - barefoot - and got my chauffeur to drive me home. Whilst I was in the car, I jumped onto my Twitter, and scrolled through my newsfeed. Why was every other celebrities life so much more eventful than mine?

Liam and Miley are back on. Kourt K has been seen leaving a Bieber concert. And I'm sat at the back of my car with bleeding feet. Nice.

When I got home, I unzipped my dress and put a robe on. I was too tired to even put clothes on, so I focused on what was really important, sleep. I went to bed and tossed and turned for a bit until I realised I still had my damn make up on. I slowly took it off and managed to go to sleep.

And it was great.
