"The premiere is in about a month, the 24th of August. So we need to find you a partner by next week, so it looks more realistic, so you get to know them a bit more." Shenna said on the other end of the phone.
"Okay, but how are we going to do that?" I said walking into my lounge, a bowl of popcorn awkwardly balanced in my hand.
"Well, I have managed to make a list of single, celebrity men, who I think should be up for it. I'll get back to you in 3 days Mandy. 3 days. I promise."
"Okay, ring me when you have something please?" I said, sitting on my couch and putting the popcorn on the table.
"Of course, see you."
"Bye."
I sighed and put my phone beside me, and I turned on Pretty Little Liars. Shay Mitchell and me were friends, and watching her makes me giggle because she's nothing like that in real life.
Amore came and perched himself on my lap, and watched the TV show with me. I stroked his ears and his head and he eased into my lap, comfortable. I smiled to myself, and realised I kind of needed a bath. So I waited until Amore went to sleep and I put him in his doggy bed and went up to go into the bath.
Once I got into the bath, I closed my eyes and relaxed. I then checked my phone, and went on my Twitter to see if anything special was happening.

I went on the hashtag '#MandyTheBabySaver' and saw mine and Alissa's selfie together, and smiled. I felt happy that I managed to help someone, even though I didn't do much. I thought I should tweet her back, to let her know that her gratitude was appreciated.

I got out of the bath and dried off, and put my silk pyjamas on. I got into bed and thought about the events of today, with Shenna.
Was I really ready to pull something like this off? Like, what if it doesn't work out, or what if I get paired with someone really horrible.
I decided that whatever would happen, would happen for the best, and with that I fell asleep.

Today's the day.
Today I would find out if I had a partner for the film awards. I'm making out as if this is a huge deal, and I'm gonna get married to this lad, which I'm not. Only for about 2 months and then its finished. I don't want to get too attached in case I get my heart broke and I'm not great at catching feelings either.
I was just about to ring Shenna, when I got a call from her first. I took a deep breath and pressed decline.
FUCK
I quickly rang her back quickly, cringing because of the gob off I was about to get.
"Why did you press decline?!?!?!?!" I heard a very angry - very annoyed - Shenna say.
"Didn't mean to, sorry. Have you got anything for me?" I asked impatient. My nerves felt like they were vibrating back and forth, creating a sick feeling in my stomach. I cringed a little and sat down, before I passed out.
"Okay, well. I spent the last 3 days -"
"I don't need a fucking introduction Shenna I know what you were doing just please tell me what you got for me!" I said, biting the skin around my nails. That was my worst habit. Whenever I got nervous, or even bored, I'd just start biting the skin around my nails. It's so gross, and makes my hands look awful as well.
"That's rude. Don't interrupt me no-"
"Okay I won't."
"You just did."
"Shenna!" I said frustrated. Amore ran to me and sat in my lap. Stroking him made me feel a little less stressed and anxious.
"Okay, okay. So, I rang many, many publicists, and got nothing." She said. My heart broke. This was it. I couldn't take the easy route to the top, I had to take the long, lengthy way. I sighed.
"That's okay. Thanks anyway." I smiled feebly.
"I haven't finished!" She said. I didn't see the point in listening, it's finished, I can't go to the premiere. " Almost all of them said no."
"Almost?" I said, a little bit of hope sparking within me.
"Almost. You might want to sit down for this." She said, scaring me.
"I'm already sat Shen. Please tell me."
"Okay, so I found one guy, but he's going through a bit of a rough patch, so we haven't told him its a publicity stunt. Me and his manager have arranged a little 'prank' but it's not a mean prank, it's just something to help you too meet." Shenna said. I went quiet for a bit.
"Mandy?" She said.
"Yes?" I replied, thinking about this.
"Do you want to know who it is?"
"Yes." My head spun, and I didn't know what to expect. This guy was obviously a celebrity, and if he's going through a rough patch I didn't want to mess him up even more, I'm not good at support. But this guy is going to be the one who's going to take me up to the top. So I'm going to have to say yes even if it's Pete Burns.
Jokes, I would never say yes to Pete Burns he scares me.
"Ronaldo. Cristiano Ronaldo."
