Liam's eyes snapped open, but he couldn't see anything. He knew his eyes were open, so why couldn't he see anything? He tried to lift his head up, but his neck hurt. Badly. He whimpered slightly at the pain. Wha... what had happened? What was going on?
"Louisa..." His voice was quiet and croaky, he found it hard to speak. He coughed trying to clear my throat, which just hurt his neck even more.
"Louisa..." he managed to say a bit louder. No response. Was she okay? Could she hear him? What was happening? All these thoughts rushed around Liam's confused and scared mind.
He lifted his hand up and touched his head. It felt wet, and he had a banging headache. He fought the pain enough to lift his head up a tiny bit and saw his head was rested on the air bag which had gone off in the car. Why had that gone off? Why did his neck and head hurt?
Thoughts rushed back to Liam as to what had happened, and he started to panic. He's been shouting at Louisa, causing him to lose control of the car, and he'd hit something. He'd crashed. He'd crashed, and Louisa wasn't responding. Liam spoke out loud "Oh god what have I done?"
"Niall mate, Liam did say he was coming, right?" Harry asked anxiously. Liam was now an hour late, and yet he was always the one nagging the boys about being late.
"Yeah! He also said Louisa was coming! Don't know what's gotten into them..." Niall said shaking his head, before taking a sip of his pint. Everyone was standing round chatting, waiting for Liam to get here before starting a few speeches... but he hadn't turned up. Harry checked his phone; still no messages.
"I'm gonna try and call him again, okay?" Niall nodded and Harry walked over to the doors and stood outside in the corridor.
"Please pick up Liam, please pick up..." Harry whispered to himself as he rang. It went to answering machine for the 10th time. He swore under his breath and went back into the hall, and Paul pulled Harry to the side.
"Hey, Liam's okay, right?" Harry shrugged, really not knowing what was going on with Liam. He'd never done anything like this before, what was he playing at? Paul frowned.
"If he's not here in half an hour, I'm driving to his house to check he's okay. This is defiantly not like Liam." Harry nodded in agreement before walking back over to Niall.
Liam knew he could move my hand, and he could lift my head a little bit. He tried to shift his eyes down to see Louisa, but he couldn't, it hurt way too much. He reached his hand down into the middle of the seats, and his hand wrapped around his phone. He lifted it up, looking up at the screen and went and called the first person on speed dial. It happened to be Niall."Liam, dude, where you at? The whole place is waiting for ya!"
"Niall, listen, I... I've crashed the car." A sob escaped from Liam's lips, and tears started to roll down his face.
"Liam? Liam are you okay? You sound like shit! What do you mean you've crashed?"
"Listen Niall..." He was hardly able to speak now from sobbing, "I've crashed, and it's all my fault. I don't know if Louisa's okay, I don't think she can see me. My head's bleeding and my neck hurts. Just... just get help."
"Liam? Liam! Hang in there mate, I'm coming okay, I'm coming!" With that the phone line went dead, and Liam dropped the phone, violently sobbing.
