"Paul, we need to go, now." Niall said urgently as he pulled him away, mid conversation.

"What?"

"It's Liam, he phoned me, he sounded like shit and was crying and he said he'd crashed." Niall's voice was getting more shaky as he spoke.

"Let's go..." Paul said as he left through the doors, Nialll running after him.

Liam opened his eyes again. He must've fallen asleep... or fainted. He tried to move again to see Louisa, but he still couldn't. He stretched his arm out and felt around until he felt her hand. Her fingers were cold, and although he couldn't see her, he knew she was the most fragile right now she'd ever been. He held her hand tightly, not releasing his grip.

"It's okay honey, you'll be okay, help's on it's way, we'll be out soon, back home. I love you Louisa, I love you and I'm sorry, so so so sorry, I really really love you Louisa..." More tears rolled down Liam's face, but he continued to talk, continued to reassure Louisa... reassure himself.

"It's okay, everything will be okay, I'm sorry..."

Paul was defiantely speeding, but they didn't care anymore. Niall had to find Liam. He roughly knew the route to his house, he just had to wait till we came to a car off the road or something. He honestly didn't know what to expect. He was just hoping he was on the side of the road, his car broken down, needing a tow. He was trying to fool himself though, Liam had said he'd crashed.

Niall just didn't get it though. Liam was one of the safest drivers he knew. He was always so sensible behind the wheel, always refusing to drink when driving. How could he crash? Unless... unless someone else caused the crash. Niall's hands were shaking. How bad was it? He was scared beyond belief.

"There! See that?" Paul pointed up ahead and sure enough a black Mercedes, facing their way, was crashed down in a ditch, the whole front end crushed in. Niall gasped. It was bad. Really, really bad.

"Call 999 Niall." Niall just sat there in shock, staring.

"NIALL, CALL 999." Paul bellowed at him. He snapped out of it and dialled the number as Paul pulled up and jumped down into the ditch.

"Liam? Louisa? Liam!" Niall heard Paul shouting. Niall stayed sat in the front seat.

He hopped out after the phone call and stood round the front of the car, too scared to go down there. He had to go down though, Liam was his best mate... his brother. He ran down into the ditch, avoiding debri and nettles.

"Liam! Mate! Are you okay? Liam!" Niall shouted. He found Paul round the drivers side of the door, sticking his hand through the smashed window.

"Careful you don't cut yourself Paul..." He warned. Paul pulled his arm out and turned to Niall. He looked like he was about to be sick.

"Is Liam okay?" Paul didn't say anything. He ran to the drivers door and saw Liam, blood pouring down the side of his head, facing away. He'd been looking out the other window when they crashed. No, he'd been looking at Louisa. He hadn't been concentrating on the road. Niall was shaking.

"Liam? Liam! Can you hear me? Listen, ambulance will be here any minute! You'll be fine, I promise!" Niall could see the slight movement of his chest, so he knew he was alive. Thank god.

NiLl moved around to the other door to see Louisa, but the window wasn't smashed and the door wouldn't budge. He pushed his face up against the window and saw straight away how bad a state Louisa was in. She was hunched over, her head also pouring with blood, her back all bent. There was no movement. Nothing. Niall started crying, and just couldn't stop. Paul came round and held Niall by the shoulders as he sobbed.

They then heard the sirens, and Niall wiped his eyes before running back up the hill to signal the ambulance. They quickly pulled up and jumped out.

"Are you okay? Were you in the car?" Niall shook my head, slightly in shock.

"No, no, it's my mate and his wife, they're trapped in the car, his wife, Louisa, she's unconcious, but Liam's breathing." The paramedic man then suddenly ran off down to the car. Paul came next to Niall, putting an arm around him and squeezing him assuringly.

"Excuse me?" Niall turned to see another paramedic, a woman, standing behind him.

"Uh, yeah?" He said.

"Can I give you this, you must be suffering a bit from shock from seeing all this." She proceeded to put a blanket around Niall, and then one around Paul. Niall gladly accepted it.

"Can I ask you, how did you find out about the crash?" Niall continued to tell her about everything, just as a fire engine pulled up.

"Why... why's that here?" Niall stuttered, looking from the car to the fire engine. The paramedic woman put her hand on his shoulder and explained.

"Your friends have suffered a very bad car accident. They're going to need to be cut out."

Niall just stared in shock, and walked back to Paul's car. He couldn't take this anymore. This was the worst nightmare ever... except, it was real.
