Time Heals Everything
They say that time heals everything
But I don't think that's quite true.
You see, it's been a year
And my heart is still broken
And it's not any closer to being fixed.
I still feel the same
As I did all those months ago.
Except now, I'm bored of waiting -
Waiting for these feelings to fade.
For you, a couple of weeks
Or maybe even days
Was enough time for you
To move on and forget.
But I don't think even a lifetime will be enough for me
Because although time can heal most other things,
It can't remove the scars
You left on my heart.
