One - saying goodbye & Hello

"I love you guys so much!" I said hugging my best friend, Lance. "We love you too!" She said squeezing me. "I'm gonna do so bad in Sydney. Make sure you guys keep in touch with me." I said. "You will be okay. We will text you everyday." My friend Katie said. "But I'm gonna FaceTime you every five minutes." Amaya said crying. "Why can't you just stay here with your brother?" My boyfriend Hunter asked. "I love you so much and I begged my mom but she said I'm too young." I said hugging and kissing him for the 100th time today. "I can't be here without you! How are we gonna be able to do this long distance thing?" He asked. "We can do it. Just believe we can. And before we know it I'll be right back here at home in your arms." I said. "Alright let go of her I need to say goodbye!" My brother, Glenn, yelled running to us. "Oh I'm gonna miss you so much, brat!" He said squeezing me. "Why can't you come with us? I'm gonna be alone I can't make friends." I said. "I'm sorry but I can't. Your gonna make friends. Don't worry about all that. You only have one year of school left its gonna be okay." He said then letting go. "Are you done with your goodbyes?" My mom asked. "I guess." I sighed. "Glenn grab her bags and finish putting them in the car." My mom ordered. "I can't believe I'm actually leaving. I'm gonna miss you all say much!" I said holding back tears. Amaya, Katie, and Lance were crying and you could see Hunter trying not to cry. "Goodbye guys!" I said and got in the car.

My mom & I got on the plane. I didn't sleep at all the night before so I slept the whole ride there. It was about a 17 hour flight. When we got to Sydney's main airport and met my moms boyfriend outside. As soon as she seen him she dropped her stuff & ran into his arms. "You must be Makenzie?" He asked & I nodded. "I'm Chasening but if you want you could call me Chase." He said and I have him a friendly smile that was so fake. I hated him & this move. The more I was here I hated everything. I wanted to be back at home in my house with Cade in the other room. I wanna go to school tomorrow and be with all my friends and be in Hunter's arms. I'm not going to see them for months! I wanted to cry and scream! "Kenzie!" My mom yelled bring me out of my thoughts. "Get in the car." She said. I hated her so much right now. I don't ever talk to my mom on how I feel and I never really talk back at her. The only time I talk to her is when I'm asking for something or I have to tell her something important. I sat in the back seat. "So Kenzie my daughter said she was excited to see you! She won't be here for almost a month but she's really nice and is a great person." He said. I just ignored him because I did t care.

We got to his house and it was huge. He's like a billionaire! I walked in and I was welcomed by a girl a little older than me in a maid outfit and everything was clean. "Makenzie, this is Selena. She is the maid. There is also a cook and a few other people around here." Chase said. "Go check out your room!" My mom said. "It's up the stairs and the third door on the left. I walked up the spiral steps and seen my door. On a gold thing said Makenzie's Bedroom. I opened the door and seen a huge bed with a beautiful frame. Everything was black, grey, lime green, and baby blue my favorite colors. I had a walk in closet which was my personal favorite because I've always wanted one. I even had clothes in it already. "Kenzie?" I heard my mom say. I walked out of the closet. "Yah?" I asked. "I'm sorry you had to move away from your friends and your brother but I don't think your ready to be by your self yet." She said sitting in the desk chair. "I'm not a little girl anymore I would have been fine. I would have had Glenn with me anyways." I said. "I'm sorry. How do you like your room?" She asked. "My room back home is better." I said annoyed. "Makenzie I'm sorry! Your not ready! Now you need to stick with what's going on and live with it!" She yelled at me. I ran down the stairs and outside. I just ran and thought about what she said. I'm gonna have to live with this now. I ran for it felt like hours and I didn't stop. I found a park and stopped there. It was getting dark and I didn't have my phone and I was lost. I walked up to a girl that looked my age. "I'm sorry to ask but what time is it?" I asked. She looked at her phone. "It's 8:00. And are you new around her?" She asked. "Yah I just moved here today." I said. "So your the new girl. Everyone knows about you at my school but I'm obviously the only person to see you now. I'm Arianna." She said. "I'm Kenzie." I said. "I can drive you to your house if you want." She said. "No I can walk but can I use your phone?" I asked. She gave me her phone and I called my mom and asked for the address. "I hope you get home safe. And you should find me at school tomorrow you can meet some of my friends and usally if I like you they will too." She said. "That's sound good! See ya tomorrow." I said and started running back to the house.
