Five - Somewhere

"Kenzie wake up" Calum said shaking me. I looked around and I was still in his car & in someone's drive way. "I didn't know if you wanted to go home or not. Your at my house right now." He said reassuring. "No please don't take me to my house." I said getting out of the car. We walked into his house. "There a couch, a spare bed or there is my bed. You can sleep wherever you want." He said. "Where is your bathroom?" I asked. "Down the hall last door." He said pointing that direction. I started walking down the hall and into the bathroom. It was small but had everything and it was even clean. Calum knocked on the door making me jump. "There's sleep clothes here on the other side of the door if you want to where them." He said. I opened the door and he was gone. I grabbed the clothing and changed from my school uniform that we have to wear to the clothes he laid out for me. They were obviously. I walked out of the bathroom and into the room next to it. It was Calums room and I didn't really cared. I fell onto the bed and a few minutes later i felt he did too.

I woke up the next morning with him right beside me still sleeping, he looked so cute when he was sleeping. The light from the sun was coming threw the window. I looked at his clock and it was 12:30. We already missed half a day of school. I didn't want to wake him up so I got out of the bed quickly and went into the kitchen area. I grabbed my phone and seen the only people that have texted me and called was mom and Hunter. My mom was really mad and she knows I'm not at school right now. When I go home I'm gonna be in a lot of trouble. I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and I sat on the small couch waited for Calum to get up. A few minutes later I got a text from Glenn.

Glenn: Where are you? Mom is freaking out!

Me: Somewhere! I don't want to go home so just tell her I'm fine!

Glenn: Makenzie, she didn't sleep at all last night! She's been looking everywhere for you! You need to tell her yourself. Why aren't you at school?

Me: I just woke up

Glenn: Who are you with?

Me: I'm not going to tell you! But don't worry you know them.

Glenn: If I know them then why aren't you going to tell me? You need to tell me so that someone knows where you are.

Me: where are you?

Glenn: I'm at my house! Where are you I won't tell mom just someone needs to know just in case there is an emergency!

Me: I'm at a friends house I stayed last night here.

Glenn: you need to tell me who and you need to text mom!

Me: if I text mom she will see the location on the text. You tell her I'm okay. Please!

Glenn: I will if you tell me where u are.

Me: I'm at Calum Hoods house. Now text mom!

Glenn didn't text anything back so I just sat there. I've never done anything like this. I've always been a great kid and my mom was usally never mad at me. Now I've done this and she is never going to let me do anything. Glenn finally texted back.

Glenn: Why are you there? Are you two dating again? He's bad & you don't need to be around him.

Me: We aren't dating now text mom!

Glenn: I did

Me: k thanks

Calum walked in. "Hey, good morning!" Calum said in a low raspy voice and smiled. "It's not morning, Cal." I giggled. "Morin to me." He smiled and grabbed a bottle of water. "Your not going to school are you?" I asked. "Not today we already missed half the day. Have you talked to your mom?" He asked. "Kinda. She's been looking for me all night and has been text my brother asking if he knew. I told him to tell her I'm fine." I said. "Does he know you'd here? With me?" He asked kinda shaky. "Yes" I stated. "Is he mad or anything?" He asked nervously. "Well, not you I don't think. He's not happy that I'm here." I said. "Oh okay." He said. We sat there for a few seconds of silence. "Can I stay here again tonight?" I asked. "Yah you can stay here whenever you want, but you may need clothes." Calum said. "I cant go home yet." I said. "Just seek into your window." He suggested. " I don't know if I can." I said. "Is your mom home?" He asked. "I don't think. But I don't know if Chase is home." I said. "We can drive by and see. If they aren't home just go inside." Calum said and I nodded. "Okay, let's go now." I said walking to the door.
