Three - Changes?

After finishing the notes I had to do I walked downstairs. "Hey, Kenzie!" Chase said. "Hi" I said walking into the room trying to avoid him. "Aye, hold on. Im sorry about the move. I really hope you don't hate me for it. And don't hate your mom for it either. She told me last night you've never talked back to her like you did." He said. I ignored it because I don't care what he says or how much he buys me to try and make me like him, I never will. "There's pizza for dinner on the table. Your mom told me its your favorite." He added. I grabbed a plate and got the pizza and ran back upstairs.

When I was done eating I walked into my closet and grabbed my sleep clothes. I walked back into the room and grabbed my phone & seen Calum texted me.

Calum: Hey Arianna gave me your number.

Me: k

Calum: Are you mad?

Me: No, why do you think that?

Calum: because all girls say k when they are mad.

Me: well I'm not mad.

Calum: Okay and I'm picking you up at your house in the morning for school.

I didn't text him back. I hate how he is trying to get close again. I'm not gonna forgive him just because he's being nice. I changed into my sleep clothes and I got another text but from Ashton?

Ashton: Kenzie what's your last name?!?!

Me: Rhee, why?

Ashton: Holy shit! Are you one of Calum's ex?

Me: yah?

Ashton: Fuck...

Me: Why are you asking?

Ashton: Hold on...

Me: okay...

He didn't answer after that. I want to know why he's asking. Today was my first day of school and already this much has happened. I turned my phone off and my music on and went to sleep.

I woke up and I didn't even turn my phone back on. I got a quick shower and today I curled my hair really cute. I wore blue skinny jeans instead of black, a blue & white stripped shirt, a black jacket over top, and white vans. I grabbed my bag and my phone and walked out the door.

I started walking down the road and the Calum pulled up behind me again. "I told you I was going to pick you up." He said. "I know but I didn't want you to." I stated. "Kenz, you said we could start over." He said. "No I didn't! I said we could be friends." I said. "Just get in the car, please." He begged. I gave him and annoyed look but I got in the car. "We are literally one minute away from the school. Why didn't you let me just walk?" I asked, still annoyed. "Because it's not safe." He smirked. "Whatever." I said and we pulled into the school's parking lot. I got out of his car and everyone, literally everyone, looked at us but mostly focused on me. "Why are they looking at me?" I asked & he put his arm around me. "I don't know." He said, but Its obvious he lied. "I know you're lying!" I said pulling away from him. "Oh my god, Makenzie!" He said kinda mad. I looked at him the walked a different direction. Why is he like this? I don't even think I can be his friend.

I stayed in the bathrooms till the bell rang for first class. I grabbed my stuff and walked into the science room. Ashton sat behind me again. "Kenzie! So, your name isn't even Kenzie?" He asked confused as soon as he seen me. "No, Kenzie is just shortened." I said not looking at him. "Your name is Makenzie Rhee & you lived in Ohio." He said. I looked up at him confused. "How did you know I lived in Ohio?" I asked. "Your all Calum ever talked about when he first moved here. You changed him a lot. He didn't look like that with all the tattoos & piercings, he said he did that for you. He started getting really mad and he dated a lot of girls that he didn't even like. He started doing some other things but he regrets that and he's done now." He said. I was surprised of what everything he just said. I know he messed on me but I didn't know he cared about me that much he did that stuff. "He really loved you I guess. Maybe he still does." He said giving a playful look. The teacher told him to stop talking and we both turned around.

I didn't want to go to the next class because of Calum but I had to. I sat in the same spot as I did yesterday. Class started and Calum wasn't there. I looked at Calum who was on his phone. "Put your phone away Mr.Irwin!" The teacher yelled. Ashton didn't listen and finished typing whatever he was. "Calum left." He whispered over to me. "Why?" I asked. "I don't know yet." He said.

When it was time for lunch I grabbed the lunch I packed and went outside by a tall tree by myself. I sat there doing notes until someone sat in front of me. "Hi Kenzie!" Calum said smiling. "Why are you here? I thought u left." I said going back to my notes. "I did, but now I came back." He said. "Alright cool. Now how about you leave?" I asked. "How about I fix what I did to you?" He asked. I looked at him. "Why would you even want to do that? Why do you keep coming back?" I asked hitting my hand on my notes. "I don't know if you have noticed but I want you back! Hurting you was the worst thing I ever did and now that your here I want to fix it!" He yelled. "I'm dating someone anyways why are you trying to fix us if I'm dating him?" I asked really annoyed right now. "That kid can't even sleep without you! How are you going to last of your all the way on the other side of the world for so long? I'll just wait, because you guys aren't going to last long." He said.  I grabbed my stuff and ran to the bathrooms again. I started crying because him saying that really hurt, but he's right. Hunter and I aren't going to last long. "Makenzie, I'm sorry!" He yelled into the bathroom. I grabbed a paper towel and tried wiping off my smeared makeup. He ran into the bathrooms and stopped when he seen me crying. He tried to hug me but I pushed him away. "Go Calum! Please just go!" I yelled really loud. He looked really upset but he threw his paper towel away and walked out.

"Kenzie!" Someone yelled running into the bathroom. I was so done with hearing people say and yell my name. "What did he do?" Ashton asked. "Nothing" I said redoing my eyeliner. "He did something." He said. "No, but you shouldn't be in here." I said. "I don't care." He said. "Maybe you should go home. Just say your sick." He suggested. "No, I'm fine." I said grabbing my stuff again. I started walking to my next class leaving Ashton behind.

That night I texted Hunter to FaceTime me. I couldn't stop thinking of what Calum said. I needed to tell Hunter that we shouldn't do this anymore. He didn't answer so I Face Timed Amaya. She answered. "Hey Kenzie what's up?" She asked kinda shaky. I gave her a confused look. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yah, yah, I'm okay." She said and there was a loud noise in the back. "Who was that?" I asked. "No one, it was nothing." She said. "Amaya, someone or something is there that you are hiding from me. What is it?" I asked. "Nothing, I'm serious!" She said but then she dropped her phone. When she dropped it I seen it was Hunter. "Sorry, I dropped my phone." She said laughing. "Why is Hunter there? Why were you hiding him from me?" I asked almost crying because I already knew the answer. "I'm sorry Makenzie!" She said almost crying. I shook my head and hung up. I put my face into my bed and started crying. Every relationship i actually thought I loved someone they cheat on me.
