I stared at the fairly small brick building with wide eyes. It was my first day here and my head was swarming with questions like; I wonder if I'll make any friends? or Are my teachers nice? I always hate the first day of school, it's bad for your nerves. Also, It's my first year of high school.
I gulped and took a deep breath. In through the nose, out through the mouth. I forced myself to walk forward, books in hand.
I opened the two sets of glass doors and took my first steps on the marble floors, this was a private school after all, and looked at all the kids. Something was wrong here, was it the cheerleaders with an edgy gothic look when they're supposed to be preppy or the jocks carrying math and science books, I don't even think that was it. I continued walking down the hall looking for the main office while everyone was doing their own thing and paying no attention to me. All of a sudden something flew past me at what seemed to be the speed of light and stopped behind me. I whipped around and saw a fairly attractive guy with dark brown hair and brown eyes getting something from his locker.
"Holy shit!" And with those two words every head in the hall turned to look at me with shock, surprise, and worried faces.
I froze.

This is my first book!
I know this chapter is extremely short but this is basically just an introduction. I hope to have the next chapter up within a week, it may be longer because I'm packing to move... :P
Anyways, tell me what you think. Yay or nay? Continue or throw in the trash?
I want at least one vote for this chapter before I'm going to post the next chapter...
