Chapter 18
(The next night)
Rachels pov :
Tonight is Lucy and Finns rehearsal dinner and I'm supposed to perform . I'm starting to wonder if my I'm doing the right thing. Letting Finn marry her when I love him. What am I saying? Finn is marrying my sister not me. He loves her not me . I walked into the rehearsal dinner with Emily and Sophia.

"Hey your here!" Finn said hugging Sophia.

"Yeah wheres Lucy?" I asked him.

"Oh she's with your mom." He told me.

"Okay I'll be over there." I said and walked to them.

"Hey mom." I said.

"Oh hi honey, my little superstar . How are you? " She asked me.

"Good." I said.

"Your sister and I were just talking about how excited we are for this wedding . You have done such a great job." She told me.

"Thanks." I said.

"Rachel it's time to perform your song." Lucy said brought me to the stage .

"Ladies and Gentlemen my maid of honor and superstar , Rachel Berry!" Lucy said.

Everyone clapped and I said ,

"Hi everyone , I would like to dedicate to Finn and Lucy may you have a great and loving life together. " I said and then sat down at the piano and started :

Everyone clapped for me and I kept looking at Finn and then I walked off the stage.

I went outside and Finn followed me ,

"Rachel wait!" Finn yelled.

"No ! " I yelled.

I stood there with tears in my eyes and said,

"I can't wait anymore Finn. I can't do it anymore. I love you but I can't just stand by and let myself feel sorry because I said no. I need to move. I'm sorry but I can't go to the wedding." I told him.

"Rach." He said.

I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek ,

"I want you to be happy Finn , but at the same time I want to be happy too. Goodbye." I said and left.

I got into my car and started to drive home when our song Faithfully came on. It struck my heart like lighting and I pulled over and I sat there and cried. What have I done? I asked myself.
