I Object

Chapter 20
( Finns wedding day )
Finns pov :
Todays the day I will no longer be a single man. I'm getting married today and its going to be the best day of my life. At least I think it is, I mean I do have doubts about this marriage and being with Lucy but it's too late I'm marrying her and thats how its going to be. I was in the room getting ready when my dad came in.

"Hey son." He said.

"Hey dad." I said back.

"So are you ready to get married to Lucy?" He asked me.

"Yes....No....Maybe. " I told him.

"Maybe? Now tell me you're not having doubts , your mother and I paid a lot for this wedding. " He told me.

"Would it be so bad if I did?" I asked him.

He looked at me and said,

"Is it Rachel?" He asked me.

"Yeah I mean dad I think I'm marrying the wrong Berry. " I told him.

" I think you're right. " He told me.

"I think I need to call off this wedding." I told him.

"Just know that no matter what happens your mother and I will support you. " He told me.

"Thanks dad now I'm going to talk to Lucy." I said and left.

I knocked on the door and it opened.

"Finn get out your not supposed to be here its bad luck!" Lucy yelled at me with the door half way closed.

"We need to talk. " I told her seriously.

The door opened and Lucy had a robe on .

"Hi." She said.

"Wow you look beautiful. " I said.

"Thanks I'm so excited this is finally happening its going to be amazing and perfect. " She said.

"Right, about that." I said.

"I can't wait to finally be your wife Finn . " She said and kissed me and then before I could say another word she shut the door in my face.

Rachels pov :
I was sitting at home eating ice cream and watching Gilmore Girls when Sophie came into the room.

"Are you really not going to go to Finns wedding?" She asked me.

"Nope, I can't go." I told her.

She sighed and said ,

"Thats really dissapointing considering you would look so much hotter in that brides maids dress than the bride herself. " She said.

I smiled and said ,

"It's going to be to painful." I said.

"Than go for Finn, he needs you there Rachel." She told me.

I sat there for a moment and then said ,

"Okay I'll go get dressed ." I said.

"Yay! Come on I'll help you get ready." She said and we went up stairs.

(At the church )
Finns pov :
I was standing at the alter waiting for Lucy to come down the isle when Rachel walked in. She looked beautiful . I smiled at her and she smiled back. The doors opened and Lucy came down the isle in this beautiful wedding dress that looked as if Rachel had picked it out for her.

She arrived at the end and then the preist started.

Rachels pov :
"We are gathered here today to join Lucille Debra Berry and Finn Christopher Hudson in holy matrimony. I will now ask at this time time that if anybody objects to this marriage speak or forever hold your peace." He told everyone.

"Do it Rachel , do it or he'll never know." I told myself .

I was about to get up and say something when someone said ,

"I Object!"

I looked over and it was Finn father.

Everyone gasped suprised.

"I object to this marriage. " He said again clearly.

He walked over to me and grabbed my hand and brought me over to Finn.

"Finn , you love Rachel . I know you do and marrying Lucy instead of Rachel isn't going to make you happy. Marrying Rachel will." He told us.

Finn looked at me and then back at Lucy.

"How do you feel about me Rach?" He asked me.

I looked at everyone and at Lucy and then back at Finn.

"I love you Finn, I always have. " I told him.

He looked at me and smiled,

"NO FINN YOU CANNOT DO THIS ON MY WEDDING DAY YOU CANNOT MARRY THIS LITTLW WHORE!" Lucy yelled at me .

"Oh put a sock in it Lucy!" My mother yelled.

"If anyones a whore its you you're trying to marry the man Rachel loves and has a child with." She told her.

Everyone laughed except for Finn and I who were lost in eachothers eyes .

"I love you. " I said.

He smiled and said ,

"I love you too." He said and he leaned in and kissed me .

"NO FINN I DEMAND YOU TO STOP KISSING HER RIGHT NOW!" Lucy yelled as security dragged her out.

He smiled at me and said ,

"I know we just back together but Rachel Berry will you marry me?" He asked me .

"I do." I said and everyone clapped for us .
