The Fountain of Youth

Chapter 5:The Sneak Attack✔️

(POV Carolina)

By the Docks.....

"There she blows, the mighty ship", Bucky said.
"So what do we do now", said Javier.
"We follow the plan", I said.

We saw lights again, we hid behind a wall of rocks so no one could see us. Two men came out of the ship and getting closer to where we were.
"It's our time to fight", Bucky said.
"Ok, do you want to join us, Carolina", Javier said.
"Of course I do", I said.
"Get your battle ships ready", Bucky said.

Javier and I grabbed our two wood swords out and Bucky grabbed his Cali stick. Then we jumped at the two men. Swing went my sword, even thought it was wood it was still powerful.

"Two men down, six more to go", Bucky said,
"Alright let's go", Javier said.
"I'll sneak up from behind the ship", I said.
"I think it's better if we stick together", Bucky said.
"Your right, were a team", I said.

Then we ran into the ship. Men from the ship turned around and looked at us and we looked back at them. It was a moment of silence when someone said, "CHARGE." As they ran to us the light when out, then it flickered again brining light in the room to at least see the men. With my sword I started hitting them in the heads, then I would grab them by the neck and push them aside with Javier and Bucky by my side we finished the fight in no time.

"Wait, but that's only 7 where's the 8 crew member", Javier asked.
"It's Ponce de Leòn", Bucky said in a terrified voice.
"Where is he", I asked.
"R....ri.....igh......t... th.....er......e", Javier said as he pointed in my direction.
I looked behind me to see the man himself.
"I though we made a deal little girl", Ponce de Leòn said.
"I know we did, but I had an instinct that it wasn't a good idea", I said.
"Well it looks like the deals of miss, now be a nice girl and come over here", he said.
"She will never come to you", Bucky said.
"Shut up peasant", Ponce de Leòn said.
He kept his mouth shut, then Javier spoke up.
"I don't think that's nice, Mr. Meany", Javier said.
"How dare you make fun of me little boy", said Ponce de Leòn.
"Well, it's the truth old man", Javier replied.
"I don't like you kid, I'm trying to be nice here", he replied.
"Now the only thing I ask is that if you want your precious map you have to give me something back in return", Ponce de Leòn said.
"And what would that be", I said.
"Well I have 2 options;
1) bring me to the fountain of youth or
2) give me the girl", he said.
"We'll never give you Carolina", Bucky said.
"Oh, so that's your name", Ponce de Leòn said.
"Yeah that's my name", I said in a mean way.
"Your a feisty one", Ponce de Leòn said.

The boys agreed to share a portion of the Fountain of Youth with Ponce de Leòn and his crew.

"I'm making sure you keep this promise", Ponce de Leòn said.

Two men from his crew pushed Javier and Bucky away from him and grabbed me, putting me inside a sack.
"Hey what's going on", I said.
"Let her go", Javier said.
"No, I don't trust you. But if you really bring me to the Fountain of Youth I will give you back Carolina", Ponce de Leòn said.
"Ugh, your so hard to deal with", Bucky said.

Then Bucky ran past the two men and had his Cali stick with him.
"Take it easy Bucky", Ponce de Leòn said.

"Men take these two off the ship, we got what we wanted", said Ponce de Leòn.

(POV Javier)

Two men grabbed us, I saw Ponce de Leòn walk off with my sister in the bag. Then they kicked Bucky and I off the ship and the last thing I hear from my sis was,
"Help me!!!"
But I couldn't and I felt bad because she has always been there for me, but now I wasn't there for her. Walking off I was sad, but Bucky was mad.
"We have to go back for her", he says.
"But how Bucky, if we do go back they expect to hear about the Fountain of Youth", I said.
Bucky looked at me. He put his hand on my shoulder and said, "don't worry Javier, we will get her back."
I look back at him and said, "Thank you."

Long moment of silence.....

"Well let's get some rest, tomorrow we have a big day ahead of us", I said.
"Alright, let's get some shut eye", Bucky said.

We found a nice spot nearby some trees. Trying to sleep, I couldn't because I was thinking about my sis the whole night. I wish I was there to help her, but I couldn't.
I wish I knew what to do just like she did.
I bet she thinking about is right now. Remembering a song that she sang to me help me fall asleep.
