You were in your room again, the first day of summer, you were going to sleep alllllll day. You felt so happy and relieved to just relax and not have to care about anything. Not a thing.

There was a knock at the door....

You huffed angrily, your aunt knew you do this ever summer, so whatever it was, better be a good reason for you to get up. You threw the thick blanket off of you and slowly got up stretching. You had shorts on and a light blue T-shirt. Your hair was messed up and crazy looking. You wiped the side of your mouth cracking open your door.

"What is it?" You croaked coughing.

Aunty: "God, you sound like an old lady."

You rolled your eyes yawning. You opened the door a tiny bit more. You just noticed how bright it was. She was in her work clothes already, a thought finally popped into your mind.

Why is she even here?

She should be at work already, you looked confused now.

"What's going on? Why are you here? Is something wrong? Wha-"

She raised her hands at you.

Aunty: "No, I just thought that I'd have a day off-"

"-What?!"

This was shocking, she never takes days off, not even when she's sick.

Aunty: "Yeah, I thought that we could maybe go out?"

You stuck your fingers in your hair groaning. You did not feel like doing anything, but sleep.

"Ahhuhhh-"

Aunty: "Come on! Let's go shopping or something, what about a movie? Um, go get ice cream?"

Why was she trying so hard for you to get out?

You dropped your hand from your head and leaned on the frame of the door.

"Why? You know I don-"

Aunty: "-I was also going to invite Drake if you wanted."

She said quickly and smirked when you froze while speaking, the mention of Drake made a flood of feelings come forth.

You blinked and opened your mouth kind of speechless, you shook your head confused.

"Wha-? D-Drake?" You asked.

She crossed her arms over her chest and shrugged.

Aunty: "Yeah, I want to get to know him, I mean I only ever saw you two together three times."

You rubbed your closed eyelids in thought. It was true, you didn't see much of him, which made you feel...down. Though, you thought he must have had a good reason to not see you. Your jaw twitched to the side. With a large pause you relented and gave a curt nod.

"Sure." You mumbled.

She almost jumped up and down, but played it off well. She grinned, then became serious.
