Chapter 5 "Angry Newspaper articles"

I sighed as I gave an annoyed look towards the computer desk I sat at. I was touching up stuff for my job.  Man I did not like this job I was on, Josh sent me a message telling me to get to know some more people.  I did a bit and I met two men, Patrick and Joe. I then met two girls whom were about my age, Amy and Karen. Last but not least my 'boss' Reid. He was actually a nice man like Josh said. My thoughts wandered off to Ginny, once again. "Mr Potter" a voice spoke behind me, I turned to face my boss Reid who had a smile on his face. "Sir?" I looked up at Reid my boss. "Go home your time is up" he smirked and I nodded without a moment of hesitation. Grabbing my brief case I went to the apparation spot and disapparated on the spot.

I arrived just outside the cottage and I could see the smoke coming out of the chimney. Ginny must be lighting a fire I thought. I could smell the cooking from a mile away and I didn't waste another minute I walked in. "Am I'm home?" I called out. Josh suggested to act like a fake married couple just for those who see us and for Teddy's sake too. And mine I added in my head. Stop Potter! Cho remember?  "Harry?" Ginny called out, "I mean Ethan" Ginny corrected herself. Ginny walked out and greeted me with a wave, Teddy was on her hip and he was sleeping as he was just laying his head on her shoulder. "Hey" I greeted as I put my briefcase down. "Hey how was work?" Ginny asked as she laid the sleepy Teddy on the couch. She walked towards the kitchen and I followed," it was okay I suppose" I replied as I just stared at Ginny. Ginny's guard was up and she refused to meet my gaze. "Oh" was all she could say before she flicked her wand to begin washing up. I pulled my eyes away from Ginny to land on the Mail on the table, "that mail is for us" Ginny answered before I could ask. "How was your day?" I asked but she ignored the question and continued to talk about the letter. She seemed rather cold with me. "Ginny what's wrong?" I asked as I put my hand hastily on her shoulder. She tensed immediately and looked at me, "nothing"was all she said and shoved my hand away. I gave her a hurt look but she refused to look at me. Stupid stupid Potter!

Dinner was quiet and I couldn't help but notice how odd Ginny was acting. I tried to engage in conversation with Ginny a few times but she sometimes didn't even answer. The awkward silence bared us and I couldn't help but feel more awkward. When dinner ended Ginny excused herself and put Teddy to sleep. I sat and stared at the clock thinking.
