Cho-- the Cheater

"So Lisa how are you?" Joe asked me. I have admit I was sort of flirting to get a reaction out of Harry. To my happiness I did--if looks could kill, poor Joe would be six feet under--- "I am good now Joe what about you?" I asked turning my attention towards Joe. We talked, well he flirted whereas I pretended not to notice. Teddy was on my lap playing with the teddy bear Harry got him. It felt weird being around muggles, no wands or butterbeers being handed out, the Christmas party felt rather odd with no magically lights or even Fred and George letting off fire cracks--oh merlin did I miss those gits. I saw Harry make his way over to our table--he looked nervous? I raised my eye brows in question at him but he seemed fixed on something. What's wrong with him? I wondered. Once he stood in front of me he opened his mouth to speak but we heard screams from behind. Frantically I tore my eyes away from Harry to see teenage girls laughing. I sighed in relief and turned my attention back to Harry. "So Ethan man how are you?" a voice from behind whom I did not recognize. I averted my attention to a rather tall man-- his blue eyes shimmered and he eyed me up and down. He opened his mouth but Harry cut him off by his greeting. "Johnny man how are you?" Harry asked cheerfully. I glanced from Harry to Johnny and decided to use the loo or better yet find Josh so we could see what Karen was up to. I got up and cleared my throat making Harry and his friend turned to face towards me-- "honey I must use the loo, mind Ted for me?" I didn't give Harry time to respond as I leaned down and kissed his cheek hurriedly--- making my lips linger a little longer. I heard Harry take an intake and exhaled out once I pulled away, I handed Teddy who was cheering for a balloon and walked in no particular direction.

Party music boomed over ahead, balloons floating around, little children running around, couples cuddling and mistletoes bringing the grandparents to share a quick peck. I shivered the cold breeze blew making me let out a shiver. I saw groups of people bunching around, I advanced towards any sign of Josh in hopes he would find something that would lead on Karen or anyone-- but mostly Karen. She's nothing but a toad-- out of the corner of my brown orbs I got a glimpse of a man whom looked like Josh. I saw him at the bar looking rather put out. I quickly walked towards him, tipping his shoulder gently he turned to face me. "Yes?" he smirked. "Well what's wrong with you?" I asked noticing him frown at a young woman that passed by. I stole a glance at her--- long red dress and a man grabbed her arm roughly and kissed her making my jaw drop. I heard Josh growl and I smirked-- he likes her.... Grinning at him he raised his brows in response. "Why are you grinning?" He asked his eye brows puckered in an amused manner. "Jealous much?" I teased putting on an innocent smile. Josh let out a snort in reply making me look at him weirdly, "About as jealous as you on him" Josh pointed towards Harry who was talking still with Johnny, with Teddy stuffing his face with cake making me smile. But it soon turned, I scowled at Josh making him chuckle loud, "Don't worry your not the only one jealous sweetie" he smirked.

A smile instantly formed on my lips thinking back to the limo, the dead glares Harry was doing towards Josh were priceless! It's nice to know he still has that side of him-- I certainly still have that side, whether I see or hear about a girl being ever so near Harry oh I would bat-bogey- hex the little toad for---- "Do you often like zone out?" Josh asked amused. I shook myself lightly before looking at him, "Not really" I waved off. He nodded and slowly reached for something in his suit pocket. "Shouldn't you be in the party watching Harry?" he smirked. I shook my head in no reply and was curious as to see what Josh was doing. "You love him" I froze. This wasn't a question but a statement. My heart started to beat out of my chest, my breathing came in long, the butterflies that I've missed so much invaded like hungry school teens for food. "I don't know what your talking about? Whose him?" I asked timidly. Josh just shook his head slightly put out, "Don't play stupid Miss" his voice was serious as he pushed his phone towards me. I glanced down at it--- my jaw instantly dropped making a surprise shutter come out, my eyes were so fixed. The slut! There on Josh's phone was Cho and Michael Corner snogging. "I like Harry, he's great mate. We've been pals a while now. But he isn't marrying the right one" he said. I didn't know what to feel-- I mean she doesn't deserve him, but Josh is right. Well right about two of them, I love him and that he is marrying the wrong person. "how do you have this?" I asked my curiosity getting the better of me. "We were hanging after training Harry invited me over and I well arrived early but Harry happen not to be there--- he sent me a patronus saying he was picking up some food in Leaky." Josh paused but carried on, "So he told me to meet his fiancé and make myself feel homey I suppose. So I arrived that day and--- Wait what does this have to do with you? You didn't answer my question" Josh gave me a look. I let out a groan--- finish it!!! "if I say will you continue?" I asked as I shifted uncomfortably. Josh extended out his left arm making me hesitate for a brief moment but took it, shook it and then I spoke, "yes" I answered making Josh grin from ear to ear. "Sshh tell me" I said rolling my eyes. "okay so I was about to go in when I saw a strange bloke go just ahead. I thought it was like her brother as I had never met Cho. So it was understandable at the time to me anyway. So I watched them talk and then she pulled him in and snogged him. I froze in shock unable to move, speak or function. I quickly felt bad for Harry so I er might have planned on you and him-" Josh trailed off making me grasp in shock. I sunk into the chair beside me, taking in what he said. "so you knew about us? You planned our mission?" Josh nodded giving me a small smile. "and to think it was faith" I muttered angrily. I didn't know either to be happy with Josh or slightly annoyed he got involved but then the image of Cho and Michael and could reasonably see. "I know I shouldn't of got involved but Harry told a lot about you so I figured---"

"He talked about me?" I was shocked. Harry talked about me? "Yeah he wouldn't shut up--" he stopped. I looked at Josh and saw him take a long sigh. "Why did you leave?" Josh asked. I looked down unsure on how to respond I mean what should I tell him? Should I tell him I had to? Should I tell him I worried that Harry would find another girl on his trip? He didn't return until I left I guess we could of talked. Oh merlin why does this have to be complicated. "I guess that after the war Harry and I didn't really talk about us, seeing as he was busy trying to mourn and all. I too had to deal with my side but Harry started Auror Training immediately once I headed back to Hogwarts. We tried talking but it never worked. I guess after I came back Harry left for Spain--" Josh nodded. "I met him in Spain actually, he talked about you saying he didn't know what to do" Josh shrugged. "Listen I might not know what happen between you two but after you left Harry well he cried. I know its lame but he locked himself up with work and even started pretending to be happy. His mood changed though after the Holyhead Harpies match he met a girl. That girl was Cho. So yeah even though he was with Cho he searched for you found you and told me he even saw you but he couldn't bring it to himself to go to you. He saw you happy with a bloke that's why he came back, he loved you enough to leave you be happy" Josh finished. The whole time he spoke my mouth gasped open. I couldn't believe it! He never gave up he when he said he did. Did he really see me with Nathan? Nathan was my roommate-- he was gay. He was funny and he helped me settle in Florida. I couldn't believe Harry never gave up. After all I was the one that left, he only went to Spain for a mission for Merlin's sake. Oh I feel awful. "Ginny go get him back" Josh smiled and I nodded. I love you Harry I always have! Oh I hope he will forgive me. Damn me! I quickly waved at Josh and ran in search of Harry. I looked left right and center but he wasn't to be seen. I saw Joe and Karen smirking at each other and raised my brows. I frowned as I saw that Harry was nowhere to be seen. I looked back at the bar and Josh too was gone. Where the hell is Harry?
