Chapter 7

Woah! What is this? An update? Yup. I'm currently having spring break so I have somewhat more time to write. Hey, writing is hard! Anyway, the ending is pretty bad. Bye, for now!

Sadie's POV

   There was a loud screech and appeared a monster. Her head and body were somewhat normal normal-except for the fact that her skin was like a reptile- but the rest of her body... Wasn't. It was really weird. Also, her hair was snakes. Talk about a bad hair day, it's worse than Carter's hair cut! And do you know how bad that is? Well it's terrible. Anyway, from the waist down, her body was a dragon and at the end of that, was a giant scorpion tail! Venom was steadily dripping out of it and I could smell it in the air making me cough. On her what's supposed to be a waist, was a belt like thing, with animal heads constantly changing on her waist. Wolf to tiger to lion to, well, whatever! Also, she had huge what looked like leather wings.
   "Well... An Egyptian. So it's true, they've joined forces, well, I've destroyed many Greeks and Romans but never an Egyptian, and I'll be glad to," Kampe said. Her voice had a deep ancient rumbling to it that sounded accented in a way. Kampe flapped her wings once and started coming towards us. She held two swords dripping with green venom. "Let's go!" Rachel said starting to run.
   "No duh!" Leo said following
   We all started to run quickly, through the narrow tunnel navigating the twists and turns of this metal endless maze. Suddenly, Rachel stopped and we all fell over each other.
  "Why'd you stop!?" I asked annoyed and worried
   I looked up. There was a wall blocking us. "No, no, no, this can't happen," Annabeth said
   For a half a second, I could of sworn the wall sparkled. "Wait a minute..." I said slowly.
   Kampe just turned the corner and started coming towards us. "Come on, let's go!" I said starting to run towards the wall
   "But the wall!" Annabeth said.
   I ran straight through the wall. Annabeth gasped. "The mist!" She said
   We all started to run again. I looked behind and saw Kampe gaining on us. "What if we try to kill it?" I asked.
   "She's too strong, even the big three fear her," Annabeth said
   "What's the big three?" I asked
   "Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades,"
   "Oh, but still, we should try. There's no point on running forever, we should try to beat her while we still have half of our energy,"
   "You mean a quarter of our energy," Leo corrected panting
   "What's the plan?" Rachel asked.
   We continued to run. I saw a crossroad that could answer our problem. "Okay, so the plan is-"

Percy's POV
  
   People were huddled around the board in the gryffindor common room. "What's the big deal?" I asked Hermione
   "Quidditch try outs," she answered. She looked at me from head to toe. "You should try out, you seem like the athletic type,"
   "Maybe, how do you play?"
   "Well... You ride a broomstick and-"
   "Nope!" I interrupted. "Not doing it,"
   "What? You afraid of heights?"
   "Nope, just hate flying. I'm not blonde superman,"
   "Whose that?"
   "Never mind,"
   "Okay,"

Jason's POV

WHAT DO WE DO??? FIRST, ANNABETH, LEO, AND SADIE DISAPPEARED AND NOW RACHEL! Everyone has been asking me and Piper where they are. They think we murdered them or something. "Pay attention Jason!" Mrs. Moore snapped
   "Sorry," I muttered
   "Don't mutter! It's bad for you! And don't slouch either! No daydreaming! No having dreams either!" She said. Okay, the last part wasn't actually there but it was sort of implied in the tone she was using. "Detention for you Jason! Now, if Marco's parret weighs 3.8 milligrams (right? Grams right? Sorry I'm American, I don't do the metric system) and Angela's pet weighs 20 grams, how much milligrams more does Angela's pet weigh than Marco's?" Mrs. Moore said as she wrote the question on the board. "Piper, what's the answer?"
   "Umm..." Piper said looking up. She quickly scribbled something in her notebook. "0.023?" Piper asked
   "Wrong! And detention! You have to pay attention! Not daydream! It isn't daydream Tuesday! Is it!" Mrs. Moore said angrily
   The bell rang. "Don't forget to bring your homework tomorrow!" Mrs. Moore yelled after us.
   I waited for Piper. "I can't believe it's just us in school, Nico and Percy went to some wizard school and Leo, Annabeth, Sadie, and Rachel are gone!" I said
   "What about Carter?" Piper asked
   "Oh yeah, I forgot about him,"
   "And Clarrise,"
   "Whoops,"
   "Only four of us are left at school out of 9. More than half of us are gone,"
   "Yup,"
   The bell rang again. "Well... I have gym," I said
   "I have cooking," she said
   "Bye! Don't explode the kitchen!" I said grinning
   "Yeah, and don't get hit by a brick!" Piper said smirking.
   Piper turned the hall and I realized that I was going to be late. Gym was like, half way across the school. Everyone had cleared the halls. "Oh no," I muttered as I ran through the halls.
