Chapter 19-

*Sam's P.O.V*

I wake up to a pair of bright red eyes. I look all over their smiling face and smile back. I pull him to me tightly. "Luke, you're okay." I sigh. I saw him get stabbed, he was dead. That was the worst thing I ever saw.

"I'm okay now." He whispers as he hugs me back. "Thanks to Slade." He releases me and moves aside to show me the werewolf behind him.

"Thank you, Slade." I stand up and give him a quick hug. The first thing that runs through my mind is that he smells familiar.

I pull back but keep a grip on his forearms. He smiles a lazy smile. "You're welcome, uncle." My mouth opens and my smile grows.

"I should have known you were my nephew," I say, releasing him. "Suzan always wanted a child named Slade. She loved the meaning, from the valley. You're a lot younger than you should be." I joke and he smiles.

"Being a werewolf can do that to you."

"I guess it can." I nod and look around. "Is everyone okay?" I hope I didn't hurt anyone.

"Everyone apart from the vampires, Marcus and Mary-Anne, his mum." Luke says sadly.

"I told you, you should watch your back." Slade says to Luke who pulls a face at him.

Kevin, Ben and Seb walk into the room. "It's so good to have you back Sam." Kevin says, giving me a hug.

"We missed you." Ben says and he and Seb jump me with hugs.

"Boys we should clean this up before someone comes asking what happened." Alyssa says, walking into the room.

She smiles brightly when she sees me. "Good to see you alive and well Sam." She says. "Now boys go pile them up outside, we're having a fire." When I go to walk out she grabs hold of my arm and pulls me back. Luke stops as well but I nod my head to tell him I'm fine. He looks at me once before turning around and following the others.

"Yes Alyssa?" I ask when the others are gone. She releases my arm and glares at me.

"I want you to make my boy feel special, okay? No more disappearing tricks and hurting him, because if you hurt him I'll hurt you." She says sternly.

"I'll never hurt him again." I say truthfully. I won't let anyone else hurt him and I won't lay harmful hand on him.

"Good." She says and I walk from the room. "Oh Sam, one more thing." I turn back to her, silently telling her to go on. "Don't let him kill anyone, it'll break him."

I nod and walk to where the others are.

Once the bodies are finally packed on top of each other Alyssa pulls out a lighter and sets them on fire. I go up to Luke and put my arms around him, resting my head on his shoulder. "Let's go somewhere." I whisper and he shivers in pleasure.

"Where are we going?" He asks, eyes glued to the burning pile.

"Somewhere special." I say before picking him up and running to the car. "Get in." I order and happily he does.

I drive as fast as I dare. Even if a car crash won't kill him it'll most likely kill other people and that I can't handle, knowing someone's been hurt because of me. Even all of those witches I killed are weighing me down and it wasn't even me who killed them.

"Are you okay?" Luke asks, I look towards him and nod quickly.

"We're almost there." I say when I notice him getting restless in his seat. "Only a few minutes."

I pull up at the gate and buzz in the password. The iron gates open slowly and I drive in further. I watch with amusements as his eyes go wide and his mouth falls open. "Where are we?" He asks breathlessly.

"Home." I say and he turns towards me, his eyebrows raised in question.

"You mean, it's yours?" He asks.

I shake my head. "It's ours." He smiles and hugs me tightly as I park the car out front. "Do you want me to give you a tour?" He nods quickly and in a flash he's pulling me from the car. I laugh and help him pull me to the door.

"And this is our bedroom." I conclude. While he's looking around the massive room in amazement I close the door softly and walk up behind him, wrapping my arms around him. Before I can react he pushes me to the bed and starts kissing me down my neck. I push him away slightly. "Don't start something you can't finish." I warn.

He shakes his head and kisses me full on the lips. "I can finish it." He says, matter-of-fact. Without another word I pull him to me and he happily comes to me.

"Promise me you'll never leave me again." He whispers sleepily into the pillows.

I rub my hand down his back. "I promise I'll be by your side forever and always." I feel him smile and in the flick of a switch he's asleep in my arms, the way it was always meant to be.
