Our Love Story

Shark Attack

     "AHHHHHHH!!" I scream, "SHARK!"
     Everyone starts swimming away but I stay there. Frozen in fear.
     "ADDISON LETS GO!" Hunter screams loudly.
     I start swimming as fast as I can. The shark is fast on my tail. I feel a sharp pain in my foot but I keep on swimming. As soon as I got to shore I tried to stand but I couldn't. I look down at my foot and see that it is covered in blood. But luckily I still had all of my limbs.
     "Addison!" Aiden yells running up to me, "We need to get you to the hospital. Hunter help me carry her to the car."
     Hunter picked me up bridal style and started jogging towards his car. Aiden jumps into the driver seat. Hunter sets my feet in his lap putting his t-shirt around it to cover the wound. My head is in Gracie's lap and she is whispering to me.
     "It will all be okay. You are going to be fine. We will be at the hospital soon. We have already called your mom, Natalie, and Josh. They are meeting us there." Gracie whispers while squeezing my hand.
     Once we get to the hospital my mom, brother, and sister sprint to the car and look at my bloody foot, Hunter's bloody lap, Gracie's bloody face, and Aiden's bloody hands.
     "Please tell met hat all of that red stuff is from slushy and not my daughter." My mom says shakily.
     Everyone just stares at her and gives no response.
     "Oh, sweetie. It will be alright, okay?" My mom says as I nod in response.
     Hunter carries me inside and as soon as the nurses see us they grab a gurney and take me into trauma room 3. They give me 2 shots to numb my foot, then they begin to hook me up to all kinds of IVs and machines, and then they clean off my foot. They say that it isn't too bad and that they are just going to stitch it up but I will have to stay overnight because I lost a lot of blood. So after they stitch me up, they take me into a new room with two couches and seven chairs. All of my family and friends come in and they are all crying. Even Aiden and Hunter. Gracie is crying so hard that she is about to hyperventilate so I invite her over to lay down on my bed with me. She runs over and lays down next to me. We lay there hugging for a few minutes until she calms down and then everybody else takes their turns hugging me. Everyone found a spot to sit and we turned on the TV and found SpongeBob. We all ordered something from the cafeteria. We were all having a little party. That was until the one person I never thought I'd ever see again showed up.
"What are you doing here?"
