What Year Is It Again?

     I heard shuffling. But it was dark. Why was it dark. I tried to open my eyes but they weren't going anywhere. I tried to speak but my mouth wouldn't open either.
     "Addison, I know that you're in there. Come on. You can do it. I hear a voice. But it's a voice that I haven't heard in a while.
     "Josh?" I ask.
     "Yea it's me." He responds walking out of a tunnel of light that suddenly appeared.
     "How...Where...Huh?" I say thoroughly confused.
     "I was granted permission to come talk to you. You're in "the land between". I wanted to tell you that it isn't your time yet. You still have a life to live. You have people that love you. People that are waiting for you."
     "That is all fine and dandy, but how the heck do I get out of "the land between"? Is there a certain thing I have to do?"
     "You just have to think about the people that you love...that are alive. So that means not me."
     "Haha. Okay. That sounds easy enough. By the way...did you hear the things I said to you when you...um...died?"
     "Yes. And I love you too sis." He says pulling me into a hug.
     I immediately hug him back, and we stand there for a minute. He lets me go and he walks back into the light. Right after he walks in, it disappears. I think of Hunter, Aiden, Natalie, my mom, and especially Gracie. Then, all of a sudden all I see is a hospital room with all of those people in it. They are sleeping so I decide to scare them a bit.
     I close my eyes again and wait a few seconds. I silently take a deep breath and hold it in. My heart rate begins to slow down to the monitor begins to beep.
     "GUYS!!" Gracie screams.
     They all start screaming, crying, and freaking out. I let go of the breath and begin to laugh.
     "Huh?" Natalie says confused.
     "I woke up about five minutes ago. I saw you all sleeping, so I decided to have a little fun." I say giggling.
     "It's about time you woke up." Gracie runs up and hugs me tightly.
     "What do you mean "it's about time"? What happened?"
     "You were having a severe anxiety attack and you passed out." Natalie says.
     "So we drove you to the hospital and the doctors told us that you were in a coma." My mom says.
     "How long was I out?"
     "4 months."
