Chapter Six

Liana pov

Today, our drama teacher, Mrs Tully chose four people to act as the main character in a show called, The snow princess. Mrs Tully told me to act as the snow princess, Karen! I know Teresa was so eager to act as the snow princess because Wills will be the prince, Jared. When I heard my name being called to act as Karen, my heart began beating wildly. Acting with Wills? I thought. I might faint because he was just so handsome!

Its no wonder Teresa fell in love with him. Teresa was acting as my maid, Rica. I could see pure hate in her face as she looked at me. Her eyes were saying, You stole my rightful place, stupid! She turned away and huffed in annoyance. "Mrs Tully, I should be the princess, not Liana!" Mrs Tully raised an eyebrow. "You've been main character for months! Now it's somebody's turn to be. The better candidate is Liana." Teresa rolled her eyes. "Who said she was better than me? Of course I am the best!" Mrs Tully shook her head.

"That was not the right thing to say! Fanny! You are becoming the sorceress."

Fanny screamed with delight. "Yay! I get to act with my best friend."

"She got the better role than me." Teresa muttered.

"Please don't complain or this show won't turn out well."

Teresa rolled her eyes and put on a slightly torn dress. "I hate being the maid."

Wills rolled his eyes. " This has nothing to do with us." Teresa glared at him. "Screw it!" Wills laughed. "Mrs Tully, shall we start now?"

"Alright, Wills. You may start now."

The show went well though Teresa was quite sulky. Mrs Tully gave us some free cupcakes as lunch and a choice of coffee or tea. I chose tea with cupcakes. I sat with Fanny and Wills during our break then we resumed our lessons. Teresa had gone happier when Mr Hart praised her maths work. "Liana, please draw lines after the sums." Teresa smirked at me. Her eyes seemed to say, See, I am better than you.

I rolled my eyes. I can't stand that girl. When I was waiting for gran after school, I saw a woman with red eyes. I gulped and turned away. I could hear a voice in my head. 'Why did you avoid me?' Minera's voice sounded amused. 'You are a devil. You possessed my gran!' I thought. Minera laughed. 'Who cares about that scrawny woman? I only want revenge! So...you must be the sacrifice. If I water her bones with your blood, she will-"

"Liana! Over here."

I turned towards the sound and saw gran honking her car. I could hear Minera's growl in my head. 'Some other time.' I could feel her presence disappear. "Coming gran!"

"What happened?"

"I-Well, I heard Minera spoke through my head. She said I have to become a sacrifice for Mora but...I don't want to become her sacrifice!"

"Calm down. We will not let that happen to you. So, have you discover your powers yet?"

My thoughts wandered to my first day of school. The ice that swirls around my palm.

"Um, on my first day of school, the ice swirling...around my palm."

Gran's eyes widen. "Ice? Your mother only causes death with fire but you...ice? That was unusual. Although I had never met Danus before, but rumors said he only has fire magic. But one day, they said he got his other elements magic, ice, water, wind, earth from a sorceress. The sorceress was his wife. They said he killed his wife and sucked the powers from her. So I think...that you inherited his ice powers."

"He killed his wife? That was horrible!"

"Yeah I know. He got greedy and took his wife's power. Then he regretted his actions so he wrote all his magic in a book, sealed it and hid it in somewhere then killed himself. But if you combined that five elements, it will produce a very powerful magic. Pure magic but...it cannot be inherited. Only by learning."

"Why bothered telling me?"

"Because, each tenth generation of Danus must learn his five elements and receive the pure magic. It was something he said. You are his tenth generation."

"What? But where do we find the book?"

"I know where is it hidden. But...not yet. We have to ask Tina for the address. I only know where is it but we need the address."

We drove home in silence. Rinata greeted us with delight. "Another letter from your daddy!"

I gasped and took the envelope from her. I opened the letter and read.

Dear Liana,

How are you? Your birthday is nearing. Please tell me what you want for your birthday because Aunt Tina wants to know so that she could get you that for a present. Please write this on the column below and repost it. Erase the address and write the new one. (It was written in pencil.)

I want...............................for my birthday.

So that's all for now. Goodbye darling. See you on your birthday party!

I showed pegasus the letter. "So what do you think I should get for my birthday?"

"Its your choice."

"How about...a wishing bottle?"

"That would be nice."

I quickly wrote it in the blank space and asked Rinata to repost it after changing the address. "Sure! I'll post it this instant!"

"Please be careful." Rinata winked.

Sorry if this was a bit late and short. So what do you think? Liana was going to be a sacrifice to reawaken Mora and pegasus' s chance to turn to human are nearing. Yippee!!! So for the next update can I have 10 votes please? I would really appreciate it. ♥♥
